I disagree. We are not changing files, making all tauren look like humans or somthing. This is more of a UI change. We are changing our default into somthing that we find easier to work with.
Wowgeek, I gather you are refering to a hack or somthing of Christmas Past, which was before my time. I don't want somthing like that o come about. It is more, the original model is their, but obscured by our new model. If we look at the WoWToU that means we can't use UI mods if we read it like cel did. This is no different. Although this is still in the realms of "Ye Olde Hypothetical"
Regular UI mods are not affected by that quote because they don't change anything regarding the code, they merely add a new set of code. They don't change anything at all. To change the models you have to change the code of the game, since the LUA language which is used to create addons doesn't allow that.
