So I have a Death Knight, 80, gearing up for Naxx.
But when I DPS I feel like I'm doing it completely wrong.
This
(17/0/54) is my current build.
I don't have a particular rotation: Just stack diseases, then cast Scourge/Blood Strike when they're up, and Death Coil when they're not. But sometimes, I don't have enough RP for a Death Coil, so I waste 3 seconds of DPS. I even tried putting points into Dirge, taking 2 from Dark Conviction.
I don't use Death and Decay in AoE pulls. I also use Unholy Presence for DPS.
If you could reccomend a rotation, let me know.
It seems to be working though, I'm out damaging Naxx-geared Rogues.

You may want to switch your build around a bit, to quote Dervasavred: The bastard-child talent of Unholy is Necrosis.
I.e. I'd recomend you switch some points around to max out Morbidity.
Also, outbreak is a huge bonus to SS damage, I strongly reccomend you either switch some points around to get it or roll with a 12/0/59 build.
Also, Glyph of IT and PS are very weak glyphs, odds are you wont have to use them every 2seconds aswell (thanks to SS glyph). I'd reccomend Glyph of the Ghoul and Glyph of Dark Death instead of both of them.
You may want to stay in Blood presence as Unholy is fairly GcD friendly (even with IUP BP still comes out on top). Also, seeing as you some times experience 3seconds of nothing you have an even greater reason to use BP.
The standard rotation for Unholy is the following:
PS - IT - SS - BSx2 - RP dump (Refresh UB/cast DC)
SSx3 - RP dump
Also remember to modify it depending on Gargoyle usage and GoS procs.

LOL Aleanos.
Aleanos hit it pretty much on the head, Fizzles. Take his advice.
Drop Dark Conviction altogether and get Morbidity and Outbreak, using Necrosis as your last 2 or 3 points. Necrosis beats Dark Conviction all the time.
12/0/59
for the record.

I use
Sigil of Haunted Dreams
, so should I throw 2 Blood Strikes in there instead of a Scourge Strike on round 2? I'll replace it with
Sigil of Awareness
when I get to Naxx.
Also, is
this
is what I have from what you reccomended. Should I take the 2 points out of Necrosis for Dark Conviction?
And thanks for the help :)

Other way around. Drop DC for Nec.
No, never use Blood Strike unless you have to (to make Death Runes). It's our weakest strike. Period. Boosting it is a waste of your time. This is why Sigil of Haunted Dreams is baaaaaaaaaad for Unholy. Go do thirty minutes of PvP Dailies in Grizzly Hills for a
Sigil of Arthritic Binding
. It's third-best for Unholy.

Cool I thought I might have to buy that Sigil again...
15 Emblems I'll never get back... -.-
Thanks for help :)
Edit
: Is there a good rotation for AoE or is it the same, but with Pest/UB thrown in?

Aleanos speaks truth.
For AoE: Collect your mobs, throw your DnD down, load up diseases. Throw them around then put up UB and Blood Boil when you can, doing either SS or DS if you're a bit low or worried about HP. If you're taking a bit too much damage or a lot of mobs, remeber to use IF once you've got all your mobs together before loading up diseases.
One thing I do like to do is cast Ghoul Frenzy on my pet and let him collect some mobs too then track him back to me, just helps for collecting those couple more mobs and not hitting you until you cast DnD.
