shows you on a timeline how much duration you have left on your abilities including their respective cooldowns, so you know exactly when to refresh your attacks. Never renew a Rupture under 5 CPs, or you'll just end up gimping your damage output; it's better to instead reapply a SnD under 5 points if you have nothing better to spend it on at the time.

You're wrong, 4 point rupture, depending on gear setup can often be more beneficial than 5 pt. The reason people don't state it is because of RNG, ruthnessless and sealfate often give you 5 CPs regardless, hence why it's too hard to keep a constant 4 pointer up.
But yea to the OP, rupture won't let you reapply it if the previous one has been applied while under the effect of a proc, Rupture scales with attack power so anything that boots that will be a stronger rupture, therefore, just let it run out and pool energy.
