These kind of posts crack me up. "WTF every BG I'm in the Alliance SUX0RZ".... The common denominator in all those BGs losses is you. Alliance is fine, l2p.

The reason alliance sucks is because everyone is standing around typing WHY DO YOU ALL SUCK, instead of doing stuff that helps to win.

I think it is probably because the horde this talk up themselves all the time. The alliance aren't bad, the horde this won't admit that they ever lose. I have been with horde that suck to no end, but they always keep a positive attitude, and that is the reason I think that allies think the horde are so good. Maybe the allies lack people with positive attitudes. But from my personal experiences, 1v1, the horde usually comes out ahead (but not by much).

I mean, It's been quite a while since I was a "teen", but if I know myself (and I kinda do), I am almost positive I would have never rolled a goofy ass gnome (check my sig). I would have rolled undead or orc hands down. Where do you find these wussy kids that think good guys are neato?
Oh, and to the whole arguement as to which factor is older or more mature. They are the same. Sorry, you aren't special.

The
Daedalus Project
has some interesting statistic which I will use to actually bring a little fact into this topic.
He shows that younger players tend to RP less. This speaks against Alliance sucking because young players "want to be heroes", an argument which I never believed since many kids want to be big bad Orcs (I know I would've). My opinion is further supported by this data:
Overall, the demographic differences between Horde and Alliance characters are minimal. There are no gender differences. Male and female players are equally represented on both sides. There is a statistically significant, but substantively trivial, age difference.
Players who prefer Horde characters (M = 27.5, SD = 8.0) tend to be slightly
younger
than players who prefer Alliance characters (M = 28.7, SD = 8.6)
.
He also in
this article
shows that the (possible) aesthetics of the race is more important to females and less important to young people.
However, the argument that people who chose Horde are more "hardcore" and strive more is possibly true:
Players who prefer the Horde score significantly higher on the Advancement, Competition, and Mechanics motivations than players who prefer the Alliance. In other words, players who prefer the Horde tend to be more achievement-driven, more likely to enjoy provoking and challenging each other, and more likely to be min-maxers.
Even though the data is old (and from a relatively small source) it seems to support the general idea that the Horde attracts competitive players, often younger males. This also should mean that Alliance has a more mature/older playerbase and that older players care more about the aesthetics of their characters. This might not be accurate for PvP, but the "kids" who RP, seem to RP big bad Orcs, and do a pretty decent PvP too. While Alliance mainly seem to be lacking in practice, communication and engagement to being "best" in PvP.

I agree with the horde being achievement driven, all I see my teammates do is try to do achievements and get titles. I also agree that they are more competitive since all I see outside of the major cities are duels going on, and I love to get in on duels also. Maybe the horde this strive to be better more than the alliance.
Edit: Also why do allies gank so much? I don't see horde gank often, but allies seem to gank with every encounter you have with them.
Edit: You may also want to check
this
website out, you can check out your realm's Horde v. Alliance ratio. Alliance out number Horde on my server 2.5:1, but actively wise only 1.2:1. It is a nice way of seeing activity.

as far as i know Alliance guys are a 10-14 year old boys/girls mostly and Horde are like big bad guys.
is that what your looking for?
^ QFT.
If you pay close attention to the strategy that the Alliance starts off with in any battlegrounds, you'll notice that there is no strategy. Why? Because for one, youngsters do not pay attention to what is going on during chat or even around their peripheral, hence, why nodes are captured in AB while an Ally is in the area. Also, why flags are captured in WSG, because of lack of CC. We all have the same abilities as the horde do, but honestly they are not being used to our advantage like the Horde use them.
A premade group is more likely to coordinate a strategy than a PuG would. Even at that, good coordination, healing and crowd control is required. You have to understand though, that if the bg generator picks all dps, you'll have a rough time without healing.
If you go to a bg to show off your 1337 skills, you're doing it for the wrong reason. I'm not saying you can't show it off, I'm saying if you're at an advantage like, 1500 resources vs 500, by all means, show your skills!
