I thought it was fake... The web under the big one looks really fake and look how thick the web is that's coming out from under it o.O
Looks pretty real to me. The big spider and he web could have been, but that amount of hatchlings would be hard to fake.
Also, I think it's quite large.
Queggy, I normally have nothing against spiders, but that pic makes me feel quite uneasy.

It's the big spider and that web that looks fake, not the little ones, I agree with you :P
I didn't think the little things were fake, just that monstrosity.
If I ever saw a huge colony of spiderlings on my wall, I would NEVER think about sticking my hand in there in order to hang a fake spider and take a picture of that.
Therefore we must assume the whole colony is real.
Seems quite plausible to me.
Also, this thing with its army beats the Clock Spider by over 9000 horror points.
