Got it! Gondria's NPC ID# is 33776... I just scanned through my Wowhead client data viewer and found it. So there ya'll go! 8)
Ok, pardon my ignorance, but where do you find and how do you do this?
I have a couple of other rare pets I'd like to find, and this would really help so I can find their numbers.

The Wowhead Client addon has a feature where you can right click on say, NPCs, and click "view" in the context menu that pops up, and it shows you a list of all the NPCs in your Wowhead Client database with their ID, name, type and classification listed. Alternately you can search Wohead for the NPC you want, and look at the url. For example Gondria's:
http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=33776
... The number at the end, in this case 33776, is the NPC ID number.

I've actually had Gondria since the day after patch, he wasn't anywhere near the known spawn points but may have wandered over from one of them. 10:10pm server time, near the back of Altar of Har'Koa.
It's kind of disturbing that you can look from the rear of the cat while it's facing away from you and it looks like it's looking back at you. It also has this very weird habit of sometimes appearing upside down when you pan your camera backwards and upwards. The eyes are always side by side, too, since he's transparent...no matter which way he turns, you see both eyes =D
I have Loque and I prefer Loque's solid appearance and beautiful lines but Gondria's the closest thing to a beast that looks like a spirit (like the ghost wolf). I'm happy with him!

One other thing that hasn't been mentioned before: Unlike Loque and the other rares, Gondria is NOT part of the
Northern Exposure
and
Frostbitten
achievements.
Granted, many players are just jerks and will kill him for spite, but there's no specific reason to, unlike the others.
Of course, there could always be a mini-patch or hotfix to add him in... but I doubt it.
However he does drop a crappy
blue
that you can get 20 gold for on the AH! That at least gets you gold, whereas the achievement gets you exactly jack. People just use those as excuses to be sociopaths regardless. You might say that I don't care what they do now because I already have her, but that wouldn't be the case. I think artificially raising the rare factor of a tamable pet by making it attractive for non-Hunters to kill
(or give them an excuse to kill it, when in fact they have no real reason besides griefing)
is asinine. Especially considering that there are only two beasts spawning in the entire game world for that type of creature. They are already rare enough, you really don't need to make them more rare...
In my case I also tamed her on what was likely her second spawn cycle after 3.1 went live, and it was a complete fluke and afterthought. I was just about to go to bed after finishing my dailies and thought,
"*sigh* alright I'll take one swing around Zul'drak to see if Gondria's there..."
Sure enough she was, and being that it was like 6:00am EST there was barely anyone in the zone, and I was able to tame her with no trouble.

TY TY TY TY for your tidbits of help, I have just got Gondria after 3 or 4 days of not even a sniff. I decided to take a different approach today
I found Terror spinner, noted the time, then set my alarm to go back in half an hour, did another circuit of Gondrias area, no sighting, so went on and did a full sweep, there was the sentinel
sooo again I set my alarm (after relieving him of his blue of course :p)
Back again half an hour later and I found Griegen, so I once again add a blue to my collection and set my alarm
Half an hour later and another circuit of Gondrias spawn area, I had already gone past one of her spawn spots and off went the npc alert, I looked backed to where I'd just been, and there was my baby's dot just appearing. Chances are if I hadn't have had the scanner the dot would have been just on the edge of my map and I'd have missed her altogether again.
So shes just been tamed on chamber of aspects, 10.40am server time.

Can someone confirm what level is required to tame him?

He's 77, so you must also be at least 77.
Not sure what the difficulty will be as I tamed him while 80.

Thanks, I couldn't find the info that he's a Level 77 mob :) 1 more level for my hunter to try then ;)
