Read what developers said - they believe, that rolling lifebloom has highest hpm and one of the highest hps. They are happy with lifebloom blooming and they don't want to change it.
They just changed it. We have to let it bloom, in order to not become OOM.

What they need to do is make the HoT portion stronger then it is now and the bloom weaker, cause as it is, the bloom is too unpredictable and will overheal almost always. That way there might be a reason to use it still. If It becomes too mana-intensive to roll a stack they should just change it to a strait HoT or something that will at least be predictable.

GC is a he, BTW. Also, isn't
Gift of the Earthmother
as relates to Lifebloom kind of useless with this change? Make me use mana even faster? I feel like the talent was originally made to get stacks up faster. You don't need to cast each GCD (well, technically you should but we'll see what the new mana management allows).
But having the ability to cast faster can be usefull in stressful situations.
3. Rejuvenation comes out way ahead for raid healing now, imo, with a way cheaper cost as well as the Revitalize talent (15% chance to restore rage/energy/mana).Lifebloom will be cheaper than before for raid healing situation, since it refunds half of the base cost while costing us twice the reduced cost. The buff to revitalize is the only change here (and i think a lot of people where already prioritizing rejuv because of the longer hot, except in cases where a predictable bloom was usefull).

In what world does a tree ever need to roll a full 3 stack of LBs on 6 targets? That's not the real raid environment, just a hypothetical situation that will never play out.

Those are 2, single target damage fights. You fail at finding a good fight where you roll heals on more than one tank.
Gothic is all burst damage, and thadius is a one tank fight(the bulk of it at least). But, at the same time, patchwerk is owned by paladins as well, along with razuvious. IMO, KT, sapp 3d, and possibly some other fights, would be where the money is for this type of healing. It's not as useful as it was pre WotLK tho IMO.

There's no doubt that paladins have huge burst healing they can make, but it's not nearly as OP as you see it.
I think the fact that Holy Pally's are one of the only healers that are doing well/OP in arena/pvp says plenty about how OP they are with regards to HPS. Frankly, they are more mana-efficient and have better hps than druids atm. However, druids have many more types of heals than pallys... I'd never trade mine, but that doesn't mean that they aren't healing better now. Once they nerf their mana regen, we'll see how well they keep up (ie, hopefully they'll have to watch their mana like the rest of us).

I agree with you. The way nourish works now and will work in 3.1 points to it being a MT heal. It will be even less effective as a raid heal then FoL since its so dependent on your target having HoT's on already, and is much weaker then FoL without the buffs. But outside of a resto shammy, we are the 2nd best raid healers, so unless your paired with one or another resto druid in 10 man and your 25 man group doesnt run any holy pally/priests, i don't see use being MT healers too often. Nourish has too many variables to be a solid raid spot heal imo.
