Trust me frosty, if I didn't have wow or the internet, I would be insane.
I'm sure this applies to quite a few of us.

I wouldn't mind having parents around if I had personal space D:
That's a tough one to gauge. You are in control of your kids, for arguement's sake, but you want them to learn self control also.
My daughter has her own room. We recently set her up with a TV and DVD player also to give her more things to do in her room. I want to get her some more art supplies as well. A piano would be perfect, but a little hard to do at the moment.
We had to balance between giving her TV and not melting her potential into garbage you see on TV... so we ended up not getting her any subscription, but instead buy her any DVD box set she wants off of the history channel, discovery, A&E, etc. We also gave a little lateral in getting other stuff too. For instance, she has the 'back to the future' series because i think it introduces critical thinking about time and physics.

Not wanting to tell you how to run your life, but doing it anyways:
You should let your kids have some kind of entertainment that's not necessarily education. It's good for them, as long as they have the other, but those you have already done great in providing.

Eh. Just give em a good book.
Let em read Terry Goodkind when they get older or something (a tad graphic, if I may say so myself).
