I've never heard it called 'clicking their bones'. I've always heard it 'popping'. I really shouldn't do it and I know it, but I pop everything I can physically pop at almost every given opportunity - knuckles, wrists, elbows, shoulders, back, knees, toes, ankle, neck...

Never heard it called 'popping'. :P But yeah, I've got arthritis in my left wrist especially (from injury) and both sides of my family have been badly affected by it from young ages. I inherited all the good genes, clearly. So I always have to click it and I hate it so much, it sounds so gross.
