have a solution, after some sniffing around a bit. Try right clicking on Portal 2 in your library, selecting "Properties" clicking on your "Local Files" tab, and clicking "Verify Integrity of Game Cache."
I haven;t yet seen if this works, but apparently it has for some people.

Eh, wasn't that bug fixed where if you stood on the bridge you would get Honour. I was pretty pissed this morning because I couldn't get in, but I ran onto the bridge repeatedly for the last 5 minutes of the battle trying to get past the guards. We won, and I got free Honour for jsut being on the bridge.
