So, I healed a 6/12 run in ICC on my Druid. I have a 5k GS. The other two healers were a Shaman (5.4k GS) and another Druid (5.8k GS). I was invited to it by a friend, it was a guild run except for my spot. We were all assigned to raid heal.
I top healing on all but Gunship and Dreamwalker (I was told not to use portals).
More evidence that GS = Crap.

Reminds me of a WSG where we arrive and immediately a 5.7k GS person goes "Stupid BG leader has 2.8k GS."
Me: "So?"
Him "These people have made me lose."
The end of the battle, 5.7k GS 0 killing blows 8 deaths and about 12 honorable kills, almost no healing done.
2.8k GS = 12 killing blos, 30 honorable kills and 3 deaths.

well a BG wouldn't be the best sample place because to get HK's you can in theory just stand behind people doing the rest of the job. the killing blows can be gotten easily also if your chilling at the back of the group till his HP gets low and 3 deaths staying back
I've had people do that same thing and get more killing blows than me etc because 5-7 of them are just camping their GY for HK's or just farming HK's while I'm the only one attempting to get the flag upon which all the people rezzing bumrush to me and I die the most
I'm not saying GS = your pro but that the situation in question isn't the best determining factor to prove that

Well, at least the 2.8k GS did something; from what's stated it seems the 5.7k did nothing but sit around.

possibly but I've had similar numbers with me also and I may be wrong but I was assuming the 8 deaths was because he went for the flag making him a high priority target and the HK's was from him going by midfield were hK farming was happening. also if he's not doing anything why would the opposite faction tar him rather than someone doing dmg to them.
I'm still just inferring from the numbers given and may be completely of

Since when did you a reason to attack someone randomly in a battleground?

Also GS = Nothing of importance... ever.
Not saying that having decent gear doesn't mean anything, but GS can't differentiate between stat optimizations, nor can it tell you what talents, achievements, or pretty much anything else that would be decent about any character.
GS is the most useless thing that anyone has ever made important in this game.

he didn't need to get any killing blows I know when I'm FC I just stun/slow and run also those 8 deaths could also very easily been him trying to get out of the enemies tunnel
In most matches I've played AFK/inactive guy is the guy who dies the least
well that was me assuming there were others on the battlefield and the Horde had to either pick hit person casting a fireball at me or person doing nothing to me... I should stop assuming so much

Yes, I actually saw that on National Geographic last week.
Pretty amazing to think that a planet as far from the Sun as Neptune is, can generate enough heat to produce those winds.
