DKs are just easy to play, that's really about it. But that's easy to >play<, not easy to perfect. As a raid-geared 80 I still get whooped from time to time by good players, whether it's duels or a surprise ganking in Wintergrasp... if I'm not on top of my game most classes have a more than adequate chance to kill me. This is the same as it was on my warrior back in tbc days.
All those crying about it, make yourself a DK and level it (doesn't take that long to go from 55 - 80). Depending on how you finalize what you're gonna do (tank, dps, pvp) you'll notice you really don't have that many buttons to press, very easy (if not absent) learning curve on this class. So yeah, anyone can roll one, and anyone who doesn't know what the class can do, and acts accordingly, is probably gonna get creamed. So?
Anyone remember when the wotlk-prepatch came out? Ret pallies were 'gods' and like half a billion people made half a billion posts about how OP they were. There was a huge influx of nothing but ret pallies. I've never seen so many stacks of ret aura while waiting for the gates in AV to open. Yet I managed to spank em down (most of the time) so easily with a prot warrior. I died a few times at first until I realized what it is they were doing and how to take em apart, and even after that if I wasn't on my toes I was a goner... but it is the same concept as this today (even though they ended up getting a nerf...which I still say is too bad, those folks needed a boost and now they're just metal meat again).
Moral of this wall of text: adapt and overcome, or QQ and go extinct. Whichever the whiners choose to do, I enjoy the crying from an equal-opportunity perspective, having killed every class, with every class.

DKs arent that OP... pallies can beat DKs quite easily 1 on 1 ...
Pallies have range stun, range incap, and fcking seal of blood hits like a truck... hand of freedom to prevent snare and such... and theres always bubble and healz....

Hehe, I love how these threads always reduce to people calling the OP(even me) an noob that can't play.
If you didn't understand the OP, this is about DK's over populating the BG's because they are too easy to play. With the recent nerfs, they are more in line, and not as over powered, but they are still annoying as hell in BG. Especially when they try to pick a fight with me.
DG+chains has become the more annoying version of sap. And I can get out of it.... What about the other classes who can't?

Now before you call me a noob, remember that I know both sides of the argument, and my arena team is DK/FROST MAGE at 1800, not the DK/Hpally combo you would stick on me. I prefer a fairer, more unique way to arena than a faceroll team.

Hehe, same, I play ret/arcane. We tried frost, and he couldn't put out enough burst, so he swapped back to arcane. We just couldn't get a groove with him as frost... Go figure.

Every BG has now become DK hell. They need to be nerfed, or there will be nothing left of the other classes.
Problems-
-5k instant, mana free, self/party heals
-45 second immunity to magic cd
-spamable slow/snare
-silence
-Disease DoT effects
-Massive melee damage while being able to spam ranged damage after you build a bit of rune power.
Yes, I play a pally. Yes, I agree with everyone else that DK's are OP as FCK.
If you don't think so, you should try to find another class with the same abilities rolled into one wrapper that everyone and their mom, grandma, and little brother can level to 80 in 2 weeks playing a minimal amount of time.
Solution-
FIX THE DAMN CD'S! chains should not be spamable. 10 second CD minimum, more like 20 second(Yes, I think hunters and mages should be put on the same cd). Immunity should have a 2 minute CD. Deathcoil should have a 6 or 8 second cd. Death Grip should have a 20 yard range. Gargoyle should not be usable in arena. As well as raisen ally.
Those changes would put them in line with the rest of the classes. If you don't think so, go ahead and argue. I say OP. PvP is now flooded with DK's, and they are too easy to play, with way to short of CD's.
Yes, this is QQ, but I'm sick of getting DG'd 50 times per BG, and never being able to kill anything because they are always immune to half of what I throw at them.
5k instant mana free heal, I guess you mean Death Strike, which cost two runes. Also there must be deisies on the target for it to heal much at all which is another two runes, if the DK dosent have two death runes already then that is one heal over 10 seconds.

Yes it does damage too but OMG theres other ablilitys that do that too like Divine storm! :O
Yeah our AMS is on a 45 sec CD however it only lasts 5 seconds, you can say that it only takes 5 seconds for a DK to kill you and if that is true you either need better gear or need to l2p, yeah they can pop it when your both low on health but its like a rogue using CoS you should just expect it and figure out a counter stratagy instead of screaming nerf on the Wowhead forums...
Our snares are not spamable, two ice runes thats it. every 10 seconds we can slow you down twice.
Silence is on a 2 min CD. 5 second silence every 2 mins it is balanced out.\
as far as I know only blood plague does DoT Icy touch just slows dosent dmg.
Death Coil can be used at a MAXIMUM 3 times and even then only when you have talents that give you over 100 RP agian that isn't spamable.
