Just so you know this isn't like speculation of what it would be like just made up a battle but I did put a bit of time into this.
Haven't got skills for him yet just the Phases
Battle Area:
Big open area on top of Ice Crown Citadel with lots of undead mob as the walls to the room. You can not fight these mobs.
Tirion is about 10 yards into the room standing there. If you look up you see the Lich King on a floating platform.
Phase 1:
In phase one you enter the room and talk with Tirion to start the battle. He runs forward and a platform decends that the Lich King is standing on. Tirion jumps on the platform and starts fighting in the Lich King. At this point you run forward and you start fighting 10 waves of Undead Elites. At the end of the 10 waves Tirion gets thrown off of the platform and it descends.
Phase 2:
You switch places with Tirion you get on the platform this time and start dukeing it out. He is at full Health. You get him down to 75% health.
Phase 3:
Your party gets blown off the Platform. Tirion is still fighting undead waves. The Lich Kings says:
Lets see how you like fighting your own.
and casts something that will turn a random half of your group into Undead and you must fight and kill these members. They gain control just like when they were doing the Plague. If they don't fight they leave combat and can not be targeted as attack targets and thus the phase never ends. When you kill then Tirion runs over and says:
Enough Arthas
and mass rezes everyone in a 30 yard range includeing those who died in the fighting before hand and those who died in the Zombie fight. You now fight arthas down to 50%
Phase: 4
Same as Phase 1 exept at random intervals Shadow Bolt Volleys hit everyone in the party for 50% of their max Health.
Phase 5:
Tirion gets thrown off the Platform yet again but this time he is badly hurt and can no longer continue the fight. The lich king at this point calls all the undead from around to target the raid. The MT must go over and loot Tirion's Ashbringer and use the use effect which will be it destroys all undead monsters around. (different effect than what the real ashbringer will have.) As all the mobs die The Lich King recovers to full health.
Phase 6:
The MT now tanks The Lich King with the new 1 handed Ashbringer which will double all damageing attacks dealt by the MT and the battle will continue untill 25% of the Lich Kings health
Phase 7:
The Lich King splits in half one half being Arthas wielding the Frostmourn and one half being the Spirit of Ner'zhul. Arthas is stuck behind a field as his health slowly regernerates and Ner'zhul starts at the exact same amount of health as you got the Lich King to. You have to defeat the Spirit to destroy the Barrier and stop the Health Regen of Arthas.
Phase 8:
Almost there
Now that Arthas is back in you have to fight him from the last percent he was at now without the Ashbringer because Ner'zhul jamed it into the wall over near Tirion. Once Arthas hits 5% the final phase begins
Phase 9:
Tirion stagers to his feet and runs at Arthas with the Ashbringer in hads. Arthas very weak from the battle can barely raise Frostmourn in time. He just does block it but the shockwave from the impact of the Pure Ashbringer and the Unholy Frostmourn sends them both flying Arthas having just come back to himself says something along the lines of:
It... is finaly......over....
and collapses Tirion lays there and you can here him say:
Yes finaly it is over.
Ashbringer and Frostmourn lay together in between the 2 bodies. A bright light flashes and you can hear a scream of rage from Ner'zhul as the Evil of Frostmourn is sealed.
Happy looting as you loot the corpse of Arthas chance to drop Sealed Frostmourn and Core of the Ashbringer. Sealed Frostmourn has a equip effect that makes you look a little eviler darker skin and dark glowing eyes but with it being sealed you do not turn into the lich king. The Core of the Ashbringer is a Quest starting item that allows you to go and forge a new Ashbringer by combining 15 Titansteel Bars and 2 of each eternals with 5 frozen orbs. You can then chose 1 of 3 ashbringers. one is a tanking Sword, one is a Spell Power Sword, one is a DPS sword.
As I said don't have all the skills down but I thought this up while just flying around icecrown lastnight.

I never ever EVER said this is how it should go this is what it might go or I hope it goes like this I was bored in my free time at work and and said hey it would be awsome. Because for 1 no boss fight has gone like this before fight I took stuff from some boss fights and turned it up a notch. And gave the raid a bit of PVP at the time. The raid splits in half and pvps against each other then with no outcome on how the battle goes then gets to fight the boss more.

The people who rip on those who post original ideas are the reason I never posted my idea for the Malygos fight, and I still wont, as I took the basic concepts of it and changed it into something completely different and epic tying in with a storyline i've had for a long time. Not even involved with the Warcraft universe. ;-)
To the OP;
I think that is a decent idea, and the idea of Sealed Frostmourne is very interesting. Maybe that's what Blizz has/had in mind when they distantly promised us we'd see Frostmourne. Also, the Core of Ashbringer idea is also interesting. /shrug

It's a good concept, but I think that fight scheme is seriously lacking in epicness. That being said, it's probably more epic than what Blizzard will actually do for it.

The reason I spread the swords out the way they were is I still couldnt' see the Ashbringer being a staff could you? So I ended up making it like Atesh or however its spelled. You got the spellcaster the Dps the tanking. It covers alot just not staves maybe something else will drop in some other instance that is pro spellcaster like a healing/spellcaster mace. that takes shamans, pallies, and priests which from what I can tell the most left out in terms of Legendaries. got the staff sure for priests then the warglaves the dps mace dps 1 hander sword bow need a healing mace

It was fun to read. :D
I definitely think Sylvanas should get the killing blow somehow though. :P

The Lich King
<Ruler of the Scourge>
Health (Heroic): 120M
Mana (Heroic): 75M
This fight takes place on the roof of the Icecrown Citadel.
Phase 1: The Lich King flies in on Sindragosa, who is accompanied by a Frost Wurm version of Malygos.
He dismounts and sits upon his throne as you fight Sindragosa and Malygos at the same time.
Sindragosa
<The Frost Queen>
Health (Heroic): 16.5M
Malygos
<The Fallen Aspect>
Health (Heroic): 16.5M
Phase 1: Sindragosa and Malygos must be tanked on opposite sides of the vast plateau, near the pillars (which are about 100 yards from each other). The tanks must put their backs to the pillars.
They both use similar abilities.
Claw Swipe:
Strikes out with undead frost wurm claws, dealing 150% damage to the tank as well as everyone within 10 yards of the tank.
Arctic Breath/Unfathomable Energy:
Sindragosa breathes a cone of deadly ice, dealing 22k damage and freezing everyone affected by it for 10 seconds. She will then proceed to attack the next unfrozen target on the agro list (doesn't freeze on normal). Malygos will breath a blast of Arcane energy, dealing 15k damage, but dealing 8k damage per 2 seconds for 8 seconds to everyone affected by the breath. In addition, it increases physical damage taken by 300% in Heroic Mode, and therefore Malygos must be taunted.
Fury of the Frostwurm:
If either Malygos or Sindragos has more than 1 million less health than the other, they both Enrage, dealing 100% more damage and causing a wipe.
Phase 2: Once both Sindragosa or Malygos reach 50% health, they both take flight. In addition, The Lich King also joins the fight by using:
Death Coil:
Deals 15k Shadow Damage to a target. This is cast every 10 seconds.
Bond of the Blue:
Though they are both frost wurms, their original bond as the Blue Dragonflight takes form, merging their health pools and placing the health of both Malygos and Sindragosa at 50%.
Frost Barrage/Arcane Barrage:
Sindragosa fires multiple blasts of frost, and Malygos fires blasts of arcane, which deal 15k Frost/Arcane damage (respectively) to a target and everyone within a 10 yard radius of him or her.
Deep Breath:
They will use this one after another, dealing 1 million Frost/Arcane damage to a giant portion of the citadel roof. This is not random, and each Deep Breath will hit one of 3 areas of the roof. One is in front of the throne, and the other 2 are near the pillars. The area will remain filled with Frost or Arcane energy, dealing 4k damage a tick and slowing movement by 60% for 30 seconds. Deep Breath has a 30 second cooldown.
Phase 3: Once Sindragosa and Malygos have 10% health, they both enrage and start spamming Deep Breath every 15 seconds. The Lich King will fire off Death Coils every 7 seconds.
(Gonna finish this in a sec).

Okay, continuation:
He will then yell:
"You have defeated my forces one too many times, champions of Azeroth...You will make worthy allies once I'm finished with all of you."
Tirion Fordring (has 750k health because of an unholy aura unleashed by the Icecrown Citadel) will then rush in from the teleportation circle in the center of the roof, in front of the throne, with 10 Argent Crusade Holy-Strikers (320k Health, casts Holy Light, which heals for 10k, a Taunt, and Divine Shield). Tirion will yell:
"You will do no such thing! We shall stop you before you lay your hands of undeath upon the heroes who have brought light to even the darkest parts of the world and have quelled evil countless times."
"We, the Argent Crusade, are now here to destroy you, an abomination of this world that threatens the Azerothian way of life, and darkens the light. Ashbringer! Be true this day! The time of the Argent Crusade, is now!"
The Lich King laughs maniacally and says:
"Well, unfortunately, I have other plans."
He then raises his hands and locks Tirion Fordring in a cage of bones as the Argent Crusade Holy-Strikers back away. The cage starts draining him of energy (1% per 4 seconds). Your objective is now to destroy the cage and engage the boss at the same time.
Phase 1: The Holy-Strikers immediately attack The Lich King, and will be able to tank him for about as long as it takes before Tirion Fordring dies. The Lich King summons waves of undead that must be tanked to destroy the raid, as well as using the following abilities:
Deathcoil:
This ability now deals 24k damage and is cast every 10 seconds.
Death and Decay:
Blasts an area with negative energy, dealing 5k damage per second and occasionally causing the enemy to cower (about a 20% chance a tick) for 2 seconds. He will cast this in multiple areas at once and they persist for 15 seconds.
Plague Strike:
Deals about 12k damage (unmitigated) and diseases the target and everyone within 5 yards of the target with Nerzhul's Plague, dealing an additional 6k Shadow damage per 3 seconds and reducing damage done by 25%. Has a 30% chance to be cleansed.
Pesilence:
Causes all diseases to chain to one target within 5 yards of the target, affecting up to 10 targets this way. It deals 1.5k Shadow damage, but it doubles with each chain. Spread out to avoid this. (The chain damage takes effect even when there's no diseases).
Shield of Souls:
The Lich King is shielded by Frostmourne, which has stolen countless souls, making him invulnerable.
Bone Prison (Insert Diable 2 Necromancer referendum here)
6 Million Health, Heals 100,000 Health per 4 seconds. (Mortal Strike, Aimed Shot, or other healing reduction effects should be up on Bone Prison at all times)
The Bone Prison also deals 2k damage to melee attackers every second.
Adds consist of Abominations, Ghouls, Geists, Death Knights, and other sorts of Scourge forces (the health ranges from 50,000 Health to 950,000 Health). At least 1 tank is needed for each side of the roof, as undead spontaneously appear on the teleportation circles in each spot.
Part 3 soon!

Part 3:
Phase 2:
After the raid successfully kills the prison (in under 400 seconds), The Lich King will blast out a wave of Necromantic energy, killing all the Argent Crusade Holy-Strikers. He will then yell:
"None can stand before me! You shall all die!" He then proceeds to raise one of the Argent Crusade Holy-Strikers, when the Alliance and Horde forces start teleporting in from the undead spawn teleportation circles. They both have about 500k Health for this battle, as they are weakened by the unholy aura of the citadel.
Thrall and Wrynn will bow to each other, and Wrynn then says:
"Prince Arthas, you are a traitor to Lordaeron and have forsaken the lives of our people. For that we can never forgive you."
The Lich King will then say: "But I am no longer the Arthas you know. I am The Lich King! And I will turn this entire pathetic world to my side as the Scourge."
Thrall then says: "We have defeated your forces. You have nowhere left to run. It is just you against all of us."
The Lich King then says: "But I am never alone. You see. As you fall, you become one with me! You shall all join me!"
He then resurrects all 10 Holy-Strikers as Unholy Paladins.
Nerzhulic Unholy-Striker
Health: 1.6 Million
Mana: 1.1 Million
Unholy Light
: Restores about 200,000 health to a target, interruptable.
Avenger's Shield
: Hurls a shield imbued with unholy power at an enemy target, dealing 3k damage. The shield bounces 10 times (10 yard bounce range) and dazes all the affected targets for 8 seconds.
Hammer of Injustice:
Stuns a target for 5 seconds and interrupts spellcasting. Deals 4k damage.
Death's Breath:
Strikes with the power of death, dealing 300% melee damage as Shadow Damage and lowering their armor by 50%, and resistances by 150.
Death Throes:
Upon death, each Unholy Striker will lash out with their spirit, dealing 2% damage to The Lich King.
Arthas remains invulnerable, but Tirion Fordring will tank him during this phase. Thrall and Wrynn should be healed, as they will likely be tanking a few Unholy-Strikers each and if they die, the event resets to when they spawn. Remember that The Lich King still does his usual abilities.
Phase 3: At 80% Health, The Lich King will finally become attackable, but gains some nasty new abilities.
Tirion Fordring will buff the entire raid's damage by 100%.
Intensify:
Deals 5k damage to everyone, and deals 100% extra damage for each disease affecting the target.
Frozen Winds:
Unleashes a blast of icy air, dealing 10k damage to everyone and afflicting them with Icecrown's Wrath, which deals 4k Frost Damage per 3 seconds and makes attack and casting speed last 100% longer. This disease has a 30% cleanse chance.
Unholy Aura
: Deals 2.5k damage every 5 seconds to everyone, but deals 10k to Thrall, Wrynn, and Tirion.
Raise Dead:
Every time a player dies, or whenever one of the Horde or Alliance soldiers (there's about 15 of each) die, they'll be resurrected as a ghoul empowered by the Lich King. Each Ghoul has about 400k health and can use abilities of the player/soldier (soldiers can Cleave, Mortal Strike, and use several other warrior abilities).
