Really Blizz is it only 3 hours? and what will be broken this time?
I would really, really
like to see YOU do any better. The servers are huge, many unstable. They broke the PvP rewards system because too many people were complaining all night to them, sending emails and calling in so they fixed it quickly and made an error. If you would stop whining and bitching, then it will eventually be fixed and you can play.

Seriously though, they put down the servers for 3 hrs last friday night. Now this?
WTF
So, weekly maintenance is Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday now?
Pfft, should give us a month free subscription at least for the recent stuff ups.
No it's not that, it's the fact that Wotlk hits tomorrow, you apparently don't realize the amount of things that can go wrong on opening day. Blizz just wants things to go smoothly for the launch so that people don't complain like they did when BC came out.

Ok well i have to agree with ShellyBelly. But i can also understand the fact that the servers down from 6am till way past midnight (est) And most who just came on knowing the servers are down this morning it does seem to loose faith in my self with litch comming in about 24 hours or less. And well they are eating up the credit that they so kindly gave us for all the down time from the last two patches. I hope they will extend the credit some at least.
I think it's more of, would you like to play with no problems and enjoy the new content and miss a few hours of TBC? Or play TBC now and miss hours and hours of Wotlk? They're fixing the stuff for us, yes they make the money too but they can easily give us back this WoW time for our accounts - If they choose.

OK, why is it that we aren't allowed to have expectations of quality about Blizzard's performance? Very few people are experts in any of the arenas in which they partake of goods and services, but it is universally accepted that the customer is always right. This isn't about whether or not any of us complaining are 'whiny bitches' or whatever, its about Blizzard's troubling patterns with regard to maintenance performance.
A company that was competent would take whatever steps were necessary to prevent these sorts of serial failures. Do things break every now and then, sure. Do complex structures require regular maintenance to keep them running, of course. But just how many times does Blizzard have to consecutively screw the pooch before we, the customer, get to complain and demand better service?
World isn't perfect. This is why they do maintenance every week and sometimes problems get too big.
Anyone remember Chernobyl?
