It has been said here that "those that QQ now are those that were having an easy time beating a Retribution Paladin and simply see them coming to par".
Well here's another point of view, from a feral druid. I go in BGs usually geared with the best PvE pieces I have for max damage output. That means 6xT6 and a few others. I have 42% crit and 4100 AP now after the patch. And around 11K HP. Before the patch, I used to have quite an entertaining fight with Retribution Paladins, having to switch in/out of Bear/Cat and use my interrupts or trying to get them OOM. Well, imagine this: I get to pounce on a Ret Paladin (he's 12K HP, 7K mana) and guess what. He bubbles and kills me in 3-4 seconds. So I think "ok, let's try Bear". I go pewpew, guess what: his armor is reducing my damage to 50% anyway, and it takes 2 seconds more to kill me (since I had 15K HP now instead of 11K). 5-6 seconds and I am a goner. I know, "get some resilience".
But the simple fact that I've been witness to massacres in WotLK Beta while at level 80 in Wintergrasp PvP area is enough to make me absolutely avoid Ret Paladins and, if caught by one, am no longer impressed by any kind of possible skill. That massacre in Wintergrasp was something like this: Alliance was defending the fortress, Horde attacking with siege machinery (I am a tauren druid btw, thus Horde). So we break down a wall and valiantly rush through. What comes out of the broken wall? About 20 allies, of which at least 7-8 were Ret Paladins. In no more than 15 seconds all the Horde assault was dead in its tracks. Really... at level 80, Ret Paladins dishing out 16-19K DMG in 3-4 seconds (using only about 1K-1.5K from their 7K mana) and then simply switching to another target, rinse and repeat, is pretty ridiculous.
I agree, with my feral druid, if I catch anyone with less than 200 resilience, if I open up with pounce and get some lucky crits, and especially if it's a cloth wearer, then it's game over for them in 5-6 seconds. But after that I am exposed and at 0 energy, needing another 10 seconds at least to be able to get back into stealth and 100 energy, ready to fight. On mail / plate wearers, I get a harder time even. Ret Paladins on the other hand, can now go on a rampage and kill 4-5 players one after another with a full mana reserve without breaking a sweat.
Ofc, after all it's only a game. Ret Paladins are having their share of fun. And even if things won't balance out, then nothing's stopping me from avoiding Ret Paladins in PvP or simply ignore the fact that I've been beaten by one. The mere fact that it no longer requires any skill to play a Ret in PvP because they simply press 3 buttons and the targeted player is dead in 4 seconds turns off any kind of excitement fighting a Paladin on the Battleground.
On the other hand, they might turn out to be a nice addition in any 5 man dungeon or 10/25 man raid for PvE. From a PvE point of view, I am glad to see Ret Paladins getting a buff, since before they needed the absolute best gear to be able to scale well in raid DPS. Now they have the ground to be a top DPS class. That, and the fact they have nice blessings and auras for the party/raid.

I think that Retadins are OP to all the melee classes. To the caster classes they're merely "Crazy", but it does depends on the class. Mages, if they're arcane, can have an easy time at it with Slow-spam and Spellsteal on HoF, IceBlock and wait out bubbles and counter heals. Not sure about the other specs, but meh.
Here's hoping that other classes are gonna scale up to paladins by level 80. It's annoying to kill a Retadin, get ganked in 5 seconds by a Rogue, and then see a Retadin wipe the floor with the Rogue just as fast. D=

Welcome to DAOC. Players dealing way too much damage way too fast. A twitch fest. It ruined the game.

After this last nerf, the only things I want are:
Kidney shot buffed to 7 seconds to match
Hand of freedom doesn't remove stuns. Seriously, wtf is that @#$%?
