In the isle of conquest the other day me and another rogue jumped a resto drood. Think we both thought we could take him easily. After about 2 minutes we had barely got him under 50% we just kinda looked at each other and just ran off the Druid was laughing his head off.
Your first mistake was thinking you could take out a resto druid easily. ;)

Back in vanilla WoW I was helping out some old friends' guild on my holy priest. The fight was AQ40, Prophet Skeram. They had not been particularly successful in killing this. I was running around in Naxx40 gear with the odd 1500 healing power, the rest of the raid was wearing Molten Core gear most. Woe hits as I get mind controlled after the 2nd split. Being a nice holy priest doesn't require being cc'ed right?
WRONG! First thing I kill 10 to 15 people with holy nova spam (at this stage of the game an obscure and shunned spell). Then I manage to heal Skeram back to full, tossing out instant heals of 40k a piece (the whole 'boss' thing has less than 500k max health).
Few of raid understood what had just happened.

It's too easy to tell epic fail stories about other players. Telling an epic fail about yourself is much more interesting. :-)
Its so true, i've got some real beauties in store but I won't tell them all at once, this first one though is probably one of my personal favorites.
So here is the scene, we are in ulduar (10 player) and had just killed razorscale and were heading over to my old buddy ignis the furnace masters place. So we go about our business as usual and what not when we got down to ignis we had to rerun through the strat for the other tank as they were new to the encounter and what not. So finally we are just about ready to go again when my mate starts being a tool and running toward the boss (I still hadn't buffed people) so like any good paladin i stop him in his tracks with a DI.
Well after a quick res and throwing buffs back on me i slap on my seal on and charge in. The boss fight goes pretty cruise control and what not but coming around 20% life left i notice the hunter in the group pushing my tail for threat. So i slap a salv on him and continue on my merry way. 3% later he was back on my tail again, now i was getting worried so i pull up recount. The hunter was only pulling 4k dps, so he shouldn't have been riding my tail so hard for threat so I start to tighten my rotation up to squeeze every last bit of threat from my gear.
Finally Ignis keels over and I ask the hunter why he was riding my tail so hard for threat... no sooner had I said it and the new tank turns around and said, so why didn't you have righteous fury on during that boss when you told me its a staple for tanking? Well did I feel like a tool being told by the apprentice so to speak what I did wrong.
So your probably thinking now "well he made a tard of himself but he would have been paying more attention now... wishful thinking.
So now we are on to kologarn, once again I give the new tank a run down on the fight and all that jazz, making sure that he knows to pick up adds and quickly establish threat on them. So once again the boss starts off smooth sailing, i had righteous fury on this time ;).
Approaching mid fight a good mate of mine and I start to have wisper chats during the fight seeing as there is 2/5ths of bugger all to do during that fight. The topic of conversation was quite interesting really as the rugby union was on Australia vs. New Zealand (he happens to be a kiwi and i'm on aussy).
Anywho approaching around 5% I turn my head to the tv to see the replay of a try just scored when the next second my ears get destroyed by a sound of "WTF!" I turned back to my screen to see that when I tried to hit 2 for shield of righteousness, I had instead hit my w key and walked straight off the edge at 2% health left.
Once again though luckily for me the apprentice tank made a quick pick up and saved the day.
The moral of the story is: Rugby should be banned from being televised when its raiding night.
p.s. That apprentice tank also is a bloody amazing tank now and when i knew i would be out for about 3 months with studies from the game when icc was just released i had not an issue passing all the tank loot to him without the need to roll regardless of myself being the MT.

So today on my lock I got a group for Blackfathom Deeps. I was ready to run an instance today, so as I zone in, I see the other people. A pally tank (awesome), a shaman healer (cool)...
And 2 other warlocks. This isn't the first time it's happened; on my hunter I once got a run with 2 other hunters. But still, should be interesting.
Then I see that one lock has no talents. Keep in mind that this is BFD, so everyone is around level 23-24. And that the pally tank is specced holy.
So we start the run and everything is surprisingly going fairly smoothly, except the tank very rarely used consecration, so as soon as the warlock with no talents used rain of fire the mobs peeled away.
Then the third warlock, who was doing fairly well, had to go and got replaced by a warrior. The warrior was good but was really full of himself. He kept bragging about his arena team and stuff. And surprisingly didn't say anything to the tank about not using consecration (neither did I, but they were doing fairly well and I didn't want to ruin the run).
Then we get to Aku'mai and after we kill him, everyone gets their satchel.
Except for me. I'm thinking "WTF? I go through this semi-crappy run and I don't even get my satchel?"
Then someone links recount, and I'm last in DPS (well, second to last; healer was last). I was even behind the non-talented warlock. But I wasn't spamming Rain of Fire so maybe that was it. The tank then wants to requeue, but thankfully I had to go.
Then when I zone out out of the dungeon I find that the satchel is in the mail. Which is weird because my inventory was nowhere close to being full. So I open the satchel...
And it's a cloak of the monkey. For my lock.

Just a few minutes ago..
I was tossed into the 4th or 5th dungeon in progress today..with a druid tank, ret pally, mage, and shaman heals.
Once I got in, I found the druid tanking in cat form..
I tried to vote kick, but it said "You cannot initiate any more vote kicks"..He apparently knew he can't be kicked, so he insisted on terrorizing the group until we broke up.
He tanked in cat form, for one. For tanking, he pulled with nature's grasp on him, then proceeded to run behind the group until the roots broke, and just stood there while the mobs beat on him.
We had decided to let the pally tank with rf active, whilst my void walker would off-tank. At this point he was stealthing far ahead of the group for some reason..
While we were fighting, and after his return, he decided to pull a mob everytime we'd get one down until we wiped from lack of mana.
I threatened to open a ticket, which I did, for harrassment, and he instantly dropped group.

Me on my level 72 shadowpriest, doing a random lfd and get AN. We have a druid healer and we are heading for the last boss. Fall down the hole and i hit levitate for fun. Get up on the land and we are heading for the two mobs before anub'arak. Druid passes me and i throw levitate on him just as he transforms to tree and starts going down the stairs. Lol. He floats right over the two mobs and aggros them. They kill him in short order. I laughed so hard i was crying. He was cool about it and thought it was funny too. I offered to pay repair bill, but can't trade money on cross realm.

This is more of an epic win, but I think it still fits.
My guild was doing Valthira 25, and our awesome hunter somehow managed to run out of arrows during the fight. Only, he's an engineer, so he dropped his Jeeves and bought more, then kept killing stuff. XD

That's funny.
Would have been funnier if he actually crafted some arrows on the spot.
