Healer joins in too, saying that 'if I were frost, I'd have those mobs'. I ask him why he's so intent on me being frost. He tells me it's the end game tank spec.
I tell him the tank spec is blood; but he claims he has two 80 DKs, and 'knows his stuff'.
Not to take sides, but I think he's right.
Blood does push out the best single-target threat, but Frost is far more capable at multi-target (and, therefore, 5-mans), FAR more. Also there is no "tanking spec" for DKs - Blood, Frost and Unholy can all tank if you put the points in the right places.

I don't think you're seeing the point here, the healer was biased against him just because he was blood even though he was doing a good job, the mobs only got away from him because he body pulled another pack and got off DnD a bit late.
Yes, HB probably could have got the mobs, but the real problem I see is the DPS and the healer who were bashing on him for no apparent reason from the get-go.

Call your self a "HardCore Raider" and have 12 or more Deaths in a single raid.
Pst. Hardcore means you play alot, not that you FAIL alot!
Call youself "Casual Raider" but spend 12 or more hours a week playing Wow.
Pst. Casual means you don't play alot, not that you can't complete simple raids
12/7=1.7 hour a day with one decimal. in minutes and hours it is 1 hour and 42 minutes. Most casuals plays way more than that. Most casuals lays at 3 hours more like it a day on wow. I would grant your right if you said semi casuals, people who just log in to do dailies or some chatting.
Most hardcore people play 5+ hours a day. There is exception ofc, but majority would be like this.
Also i know some people who does very well with very few hours. Some people in my guild seems to log in just to raid and they could be called hardcore. They seems to play like this.
Log into raid times: 3 hours and 30 minutes. plays 3 raids out of 4 a week. Logged in 3 hours rest of week apart from that.
so if we put it up as a formula it would look like this.
(3.5x3)+3= 13.5 hour a week.
And they are with the guilds hardcore team. Mind this is just a few of the raider due most is online for social reasons.

kinda had some epic fails today.
I was in icc10, leading a grp who went steady forward. We did have some trouble due kids quitting bcs their bed time was up so they left raid then we was clearing trash so i had to rotate 6 healers before raid got to first boss.
With the new healers we managed to down boss smoothly, and one-shotted second.
We get to airship simple fight. Sadly first time i main tank it, always been OT.
I ask them that to do due I never read up fight about main tank role. They say just jump over and tank saurfang so i think okey. I jump over then fight start tanks it and keep tanking it, thinking i am doing well. After 1 minute healers says FFS in chat and i wonder if i am doing something wrong. We ofc wipes and the dk is livid and swears alot.
Not totally happy with all swearing but i acknowledge it is my fault.
So he starts to try explaining and tells me, tank then mages are up so i think okey will do that.
We do second try and we aim to down it. I right away jump over ship and taunts saurfang. (I do this due he has two mages on his sides so i thought they meant them). Raid goes insane and i jump back but now too late mages walks out and freeze cannons. We wipe again and now DK gets really angry and swears and many in chat with him.
After a while i get enough with the dumbifying me and says i get it now(He never explained this was then cannons was frozen and mages walks out to middle of ship). He keeps saying give me leads so i can shout in raid warning and perhaps a bit silly of me but had enough of abuse i refuse. He when next try comes announce it 6 times and then to walk back in raid with macro, even though i do it flawless this time.
Wiping two times on airship hehe:)

I signed up for a random dungeon (my shammy is lvl 48), and I got into Sunken Temple as a healer... Normally I dont have any problems at healing, but the tank was especially difficult to heal... I inspected him, and he had a 2h mullet - lvl 4! The rest of his gear was grey... :-(

My guild was doing a few 10 man Putricide attempts, and one of them involved the rogue accidentally targeting me with Tricks. I thought for a moment it was my fault until he told us what happened.

Never hate on a hunter in the raid if he is missing flasks/food , next thing that will happen he'll missdirect the boss to your ass.

Once, I was soloing Wailing Caverns, for loot (for future alts), money, cloth (first aid) and achievment... (I was lvl 40 NE Warrior)
On the entrance, I met group of 5 horde players, planning to enter the instance...
They saw me, and I guess, thought I am kind of boss...
So, they let their tauren tank forward to build aggro...
I guess, how surprised they were, when I went straight to the healers...
Wipe in front of the entrance...
I admit, I LOL'ed.
