This boss looks like an LFR killer
Eh, they'll probably change it so in LFR you only get stunned if you don't make it to the spotlight and once you do the game just says "Freestyle" and you get to do w/e you want. Remember, LFR is tailored for people without a frontal lobe.
LFR N'zoth is by far more harrowing than heroic N'zoth.

The elitism disdain for people who play LFR is absolutely disgusting.
LFR is not for "brain-dead bottom-tiers with no frontal lobe". They are toxic to the format as well, because anyone who queues and doesn't do anything should eventually get kicked, and with enough kicks, be restricted from being in the content they clearly don't WANT to do. Yes, that is right, a lockout for being kicked from LFR. And not just to a measure of 30min, but a full WEEK after enough within a single lock-out period.
LFR exists for those who don't have the time to participate in organized raiding, for those who play and understand the game, but just don't want to deal with a guild.
Everyone who talks down of LFR frankly needs to check their self-centered elitist attitude at the login screen. Do the content you do like, leave LFR for the LFR players, and anyone who intends to "coast" in LFR should rethink whether it is worth the hassle of dragging the group down.

It's just midcores who want to feel special.

wow. theres so far three really stupid comments only. impressive. two words. SAFETY DANCE!
ps. to @zeroedgeir. bruh. the people that do lfr have more time than guilds have to run the content, because of that bottom feeding lack of frontal lobe mentality, due to the dumb that exists in lfr.. Im in the best potato guild. we raided a few hours a week, 4ish to be exact, generally when we had a full enough raid, and we easily cleared nyalotha hc eventually. even did two mythic bosses. just because you can only spend half an hour once a month to 'raid' doesnt mean we wont laugh at you. frankly, the rest of us still wonder why blizz even has LFR. I pity the collectors, it must drive them insane
I know enough people who could only do LFR, because they could not afford to go continued every week inside raids to specific times someone predict them. I, for myself, have myself a guild and we do raid 4h a week, killing N'Zoth smoother than any LFR-group does and you know what? It IS just plain simpler, because if you're not into these specific mechanics / lack interest / just want to get you carried (And I speak of single people - not at everyone inside there) this is enough. Most people I've met have never get a proper explanation about the mechanics, they just tried, retried and failed again, because most people play with different UIs, don't check for "new bars" of ressources they get inside the fight and so on... I can fully understand that this fight is confusing as hell for someone. Because in even both fights (If you see Carapace as "Introduction" to this mechanic) sanity's functionality is completly different. The next thing... Some People interrupt themselves at channeling the sanity-gain midfight with N'Zoth, because they just don't know it's a channeling.
I think, no one can there be blamed for it: Is it wrong for Blizzard to make the story accessible to everyone? No, I for myself think this is a good intention. Can we blame the players? To some degree, yes... But people who don't explain cannot expect someone to do it just right from the beginning... And no, no one was ever born to know the mechanics fully before even challenging the bosses. (Because the adventurer's guide is worse... you see not if the spell is:
A, a channel, cast or something the boss must actually cast. Or if it is instant. (Best Example: Skitra. He casts Shadowshock, but it doesn't even get mentioned he has to cast it.)
B, some bosses have "ressource"-bars, but the explanation what it does if it reaches 100% is never properly described at some bosses... Some even use that "energy"-bar like attitude and won't get explained for what it gets dumped. (Some Example: If Furorion, the 1. boss gets invulnerable because cloak, some people cannot connect that the bar he's drained out off on the right Bossframe, is just the timer before he attacks once again and turn the remaining spires into fire puddles for the rest of the fight.)
C, the TL:DR-section (alias Role-specific explanations) lacks often, and I mean it really often, the REALLY deadly skills from the bosses and a proper explanation from said. (Example: N'Zoth does not explain in which direction you'll be dragged from the begin with or that there is a tentacle showing which direction it'll be if the Thoughts grip is coming, it doesn't even explain how you can change realms, to get to Psychus, the description itself says something about a defeated tentacle, I for myself never saw there anyone? And so on ...)
TL:DR: Elitist's should just come off their high horse... People who can not regulary contribute to a raid have a harder time then people who can. Because there's no TeamSpeak/Discord to coordinate (And even if it were, who should have the say about important Raid-things within a group out of 25 people?), and some more I have actually no interest to point out...
For the topic, If I get this right: 1. Get to your spotlight, 2. Dance in the same direction the NPC's are running too? Thats... It?

Especially now that we have a boss who is actually more difficult on LFR than heroic. Well said friend.

Imagine getting a big head about the fact that you "managed" to do just a heroic clear and two starter mythic bosses. Kek.

I've watched this a dozen times and I still can't work out wtf is going on to trigger the stun at 21 seconds into the clip
i hope the dungeon journal is better at explaining this
that said this seems easily tunable for LFR, just reduce the insta kill to % hp and the stun to be like 5 seconds

I can totally picture some of my guildmates epically fail at this 🤣🤣🤣🤣 some of them can't really understand the simple concept of moving out of ouchy things on the floor, let alone this intermission

-If you use cheeses like iceblock you immediately die
-A situation can occur, and frequently does so, where the dance goes either left or right, multiple times in a row, forcing half the raid off of the dancefloor and onto the sidelines where they take very high continuous damage without the possibility of getting out because this will trigger the 30 second stun.
