This topic features 3 Macros I have in my action bar in caster form. They are really useful as they will cover both your healing and offensive abilities depending on what you're currently targetting.
The first one is Wrath/Regrowth, since both are 2secs casts, they'll fit nice into a macro.
#showtooltip
/cast Regrowth; Wrath; Regrowth
The second one is Moonfire/Rejuvenation, since both are instant casts, they'll aswell fit into a macro.
#showtooltip
/cast Rejuvenation; Moonfire; Rejuvenation
And the last one is Starfire/Healing Touch. Both are 3.5secs cast so they also fit in with eachother.
#showtooltip
/cast Healing Touch; Starfire; Healing Touch
I hope these macros will be useful for you aswell as they are for me. Enjoy!
EDIT1: Added #showtooltip into the macro.
EDIT2: replaced '#showtooltip Starfire' with '#showtooltip' (also for the other spells).
EDIT3: replaced 'modifier' with 'mod' since it's shorter and does the same thing.

I never use complex macros. What are the and for? does that alter the tooltip or somthing?

Thanks, After I posted I reread the OP and it says "They are really useful as they will cover both your healing and offensive abilities depending on what you're currently targetting." So it casts depending on target.

thanks! this will free up allot of space on my bars. very useful in pvp.
edit: adding #showtooltip on the line above those macros is useful for showing out of range/mana fading on the tooltip
the only problem with them i have is you have to target yourself to heal with them, so you have to take your target off your opponent and leaves gaps they could slip a cast through
@ #showtooltip, ye I forgot to add that =) fixed it ^^
and the is to behave like blizzards way how it was meant to be, so when you hold alt.. and cast a spell it's automatically cast on yourself ^^;

I'm of the "one spell <-> one key" school.

I'm really curious about your macros.
I've always used the following:
/cast Lifebloom; Moonfire
Why do you have the modifier Alt in there? It adds an unnecessary key to push, imo. The simple help/harm one that I posted that I got from wowwiki works great on whatever your targeting without pressing alt. Is there something I'm missing with your macros? I just don't understand why you made your "help" side more complicated by adding a modifier.
Also, if you're going to list the most important macros, make sure you include the mouseover ones for lifebloom and lacerate; surely those are perhaps the single most useful macros out there.

I personally use Grid and Clique for all healing spells, so there is plenty of space on action bar for all the other spells

You can improved your macro doing this :
#showtooltip Regrowth; Wrath; Regrowth
/cast Regrowth; Wrath; Regrowth
I removed the condition because with the condition it is useless; when are your a harm target for yourself? :)
The tooltip will be updated depending on your target, so
- harm target : tooltip is Wrath
- harm target + <ATL> key down : tooltip is Regrowth
- help target or no target : tooltip is Regrowth
or, with another simpler improvement...
first line** #showtooltip **
without the spellstuff... that way it automatically switches between them on what you target =) I figured that out myself so I'll change that in the main post :)
