And Senegos' words still doesn't make any sense to me and since it was the dragons that brought me to Warcraft, I can't let that topic for... Why can't they breed anymore
exactly
? I know "because Blizzard said so" but still....
Because - REALLY childish - Dragons reproduce only through magic? Really? I know PG12 but "magical noseboop = child" is a bit too silly in a game with war, monsters, undead and steampunk.
There are more than one points in the Lore that shows, that they (not just the aspects) reproduce physically ... It makes no sense that, with the loose of their aspects power, ALL dragons became infertile out of nowhere. I could go with the magic reason for the aspects but not the lesser dragons...
I can only imagine that the eggs aren't stable enough or the embryos didn't make it because of the lack of elemental power that is needed to incubate them. Still ... It's a differens if you can't bring up an egg to hatching or if you can't produce eggs at all....

I still live in hope for playable dragon classes, or a neutral race for all. Shapeshifting into a mount/travel form ala druids, or dps/tank forms etc, be nice to have another mail wearer as well to help balance loot distribution.
We'll see!

Doesn't Zidormi return us to Pre-WoD Blasted Lands and Pre-Manabomb Theramore, too?
Don't know what she says there though...
Or is that a different Bronze Dragon?

Sargeras will be "purified" and we will lean on him for guidance to defeat Nzoth 3 expansions from now.

She's seen a lot of activity in Battle for Azeroth, allowing players travel to previous versions of Silithus, Darkshore,
Arathi Highlights
, and Tirisfal Glades.
Should be "Arathi
Highlands
" instead.
Also, WoW with no internet dragons is no WoW; them being phased out post-cata was massively disappointing.
Oh, and trolls! There must always be a troll raid!(##RESPBREAK##)908##DELIM##FunkyJam##DELIM##Fixed. Thank you for the feedback!

As idiotic as that would be coming from Blizzard, I wouldn't count on that happening.
After the eons spent working on his plans for the Burning Legion, trying to torture and corrupt his brothers and sisters, I don't see him turning over a new leaf anytime soon.
Blizzard doesn't tend to make bad guys go good. If anything, they do the opposite. Look at Bolvar Fordragon who became the Lich King. Didn't managed to make the Lich King into a paragon of good. At best, he just keeps the Scourge tied down in Icecrown and keeps telling us to get the heck out of his crib.

Loved the questline in Azuna with the Blues back in Legion. Hoping for a lot more dragons to come! <3

Can we stop with the speculating over lore that is just used as an excuse for Island Expeditions and profession quests and as such will NEVER be used for anything relevant?
This WoW team has basically taken a huge dump on everything cool the lore has by pushing it to mediocre side-stories.

No, we can't, especially since devs have explicitly stated that many island quests are being used to set up future stories.

I love the Bronze and Infinite dragons, and I really hope their resurgeance leads to more Caverns of Time dungeons and raids. At least scenarios. I remember at the end of MoP there was some minor speculation of a Timewalker class, and I still wish we had those. At least I'd love to have a rep devoted to protecting the timeways in a way that opens up more scenarios and alternate timeline/ancient history story quests, similar to Chromie's.
I think the Dragon Isles would work well as an expansion. They could have five zones to start with, one for each dragonflight. Red, we help resolve the dragon's infertility. Green, we work on bringing Ysera back and finally purifying the Emerald Nightmare entirely. Blue, we work on helping Azeroth recover more by adjusting leylines, and maybe Aluneth could return as a loose, evil force. Bronze, just have the Infinite Dragonflight's birth, and have some dungeons and scenarios based around that. Black, Wrathion finally finding a way to help his dragonflight start on the right foot.
RIFT had these fun little scenarios where you briefly stepped into alternate timelines of areas and dungeons, and since I know more about WoW I'd LOVE that to be a thing. They could be like the Incursions/Legion Assaults; every now and then a place on Azeroth is attacked by the Infinite Dragonflight, we push them back through a portal to another timeline and resolve whatever issues is happening in there, like a Stormwind where the Dark Irons have taken over.
I want you hired. Loved everything.

I hope if they do something to help the Dragon Aspects that it involves the Glaive of the Aspects that was created and shattered into the Aspect Shards during the Third War, and were only mentioned in game by the fact that Highlord Kruul was looking for them, then they seem to have just been forgotten. The shards hold a little bit of the dragons original power and it may be enough to atleast return the dragons ability to lay eggs again.

This would be a convenient way to extend the life of the Dragonflights and pave the way for creative new stories - they've been an integral part of Warcraft's plot for a while, but so many are on the verge of
extension
.
P sure that should be extinction

People are forgetting about the Titans. THEY were the ones who created the Aspects, and infused them with their power. Alextrasza for example, we all know that Eonar was the one, Malygos was Norgannon... I think only the Titans themselves could
repair or reestablish
the Aspect's power back.
Hell, we are in an Expansion where we are 'closer' to OUR own Titan, Azeroth, and even Aman'thul saw how powerful she/he could be, even more powerful than Sargeras or himself. Hell, the planet had not only one but many Old Gods attached to it (C'thuun, Yogg Saron, Y'shaarj, N'Zoth...) while Sargeras had to Obliterate planets with only one, and completely corrupted. Our planet still seems able to be healed up, and a thing we still don't know yet is if a Titan is born off a planet, the planet is destroyed or...? If yes, we could have the necessity to populate another planet (we've already been presented the planet-to-planet travelling stuff in Legion, and already knew about the Draenei from TBC). If not, then we could spare our planet while still giving birth to the latent Titan sleeping within it.
What if Azeroth (the new Titan) could do the same as the Pantheon did eons ago, and could somehow infuse the Aspects (or new ones, who knows) with her power? Blizz has tons of lore to explore here and there, WoW can 'survive' at least 2 more decades of contet hehe.
We all know how BfA is now, but we all know that the game can take really good turns, in terms of lore :D

This was a brilliant and rather interesting read! I love the dragon isle speculation, I do wonder whether it can give the flights back their powers

The article refers to a lot of actions taken by N'Zoth prior to BfA. Has this been retconned in or is the source of that info outside of the game? I don't remember him being mentioned, even indirectly.

That's actually Nazjatar from the vanilla WoW concept art book.
