Queen Azshara in Legion and Battle for Azeroth: What We Know

I have a feeling that they are going to steal the night elves and Tyrande's moment with Azshara and give it to Jaina and Kul'Tirans. That would really make me mad.The only 'moment' Tyrande deserves with Azshara is to be struck down by her, along with Malfurion so their inept leadership can cease setting the stage for the inept portrayal of the most pathetic race on Azeroth at the moment, which are the night elves. Even Shandris has to go too. When you're race is nearly wiped out and yet you still think the value of a common as dirt human's life is equal to your nearly extinct race you should just lay down and die already. More over, considering the developers actually said 'are the alliance, night elves in particular going to seek revenge or build a better world' means the night elf race is doomed to extinction and will be happy to be wiped out so long as the 'alliance prevails'. They seemed to forget it wasn't simply 'losing their home' too, maybe they just wish to whitewash the fact that Elegy stated it was a genocidal event one in which 'too few night elves lived outside Teldrassil and they were all that remained'. I think removing the night elves as a playable race, by way of Azshara finishing off the rest of them, and having Bwonsamdi destroy the Forsaken and remove them from the game would be a fitting end to the story for so many players screwed over by the events in BfA.

If you are referring to the Well of Eternity instance, IIRC we face her handmaidens only. Azshara does nothing.

Well, she does share quite a few annoying traits with the typical Mary Sue, like overpowered / always saves the day / always successfull, liked by everybody, always right, free pass given because reasons, etc.
She also is definitely "judged as a poorly developed character, too perfect and lacking in realism to be interesting", per Wikipedia definition.
Too bad, she used to be a complex and interesting character until they messed her beyond salvation.
Well first off Jaina is far from always saving the day and being successful... we have to save her ourselves in Thros, she didn't save anything during the broken shore scenario, she was powerless to protect Theramore, she couldn't make Arthas nor her father see reason, she couldn't sway Varian into finishing the Horde after the siege of Orgrimmar... in fact i'm pretty sure she racks up more failures than successes. She was never pictured as always right by any means either. The free pass thing you may be right but people aren't mary sues as soon as they qualify for this.
Judge as a poorly developed character, maybe, but that's very opinionated and not very objective of a criteria. Too perfect, well she's clearly not (with all that failure and drinking the hate cool-aid in recent developments), and finally lacking in realism I kinda get your point, but her 180° after Theramore, while a bit exagerated, isn't by any means impossible to believe.

This. And if anyone deserves to finish Azshara off it's the nelves and Tyrande, not Blizz's favorite Mary-Sue.Why? So they can save the world once again, only for the Horde to kill them off? They've been genocided into abject weakness, they can't do anything now. Their best bet is to just die off taking as many Horde with them in the process. That's the whole point of this expansion. The night elves are now objectively nothing without the Alliance and utterly dependent on it because their weak race was almost entirely culled from the face of Azeroth by an undead horde warchief. Stop acting like they deserve or will get anything. They won't even get revenge on the Horde.

Especially after the 'most pathethic race on Azeroth' part. After all it isn't like the NE were the ones to beat the legion 'twice' before wow classic's timeline even started and who can only lose when the devs decide 'you know superman movies are bad movies because superman is too powerful - so we explain nothing and just yell ''go team green'' and move the NE back and put some orc camps here - there - and another one there.

No, Blizzard has more sense than that. If there is any sort of resolution against Azshara, Tyrande will have to be at the centre of it.
On another note: where was the spoiler tag? The expansion has only been out for just over a week. Some of us are still levelling and have quite a bit of the storyline to get through. Talk of Jaina teleporting the fleet and such specifics would have been nice to have been warned about. I love the lore and reading about it (including speculation), and most of this discussion didn't spoil much; but some of the information is stuff I haven't yet encountered.

If they will tie up the knots in connection with Azshara it would be all out war with her and I mean Azeroth vs. Azshara. Not only does the Night Elves have a claim against her but also the Shal'dorei, Sin'dorei, the Zandalari and Pandaren too.
She has done facial surgergy on Azeroth but instead of making it in her glorious and beautiful image, she created a horrendous face of Azeroth.
Zandalari and the Trolls became fragmented and their Golden City became an Island.
The Night Elves have to plan an incursion during the War of the Ancient Trilogy. The Quel'dorei know known as either Ren'dorei or Sin'dorei have travelled East after being exiled by their Nigh Elven kin. Shal'dorei got forced to lock themselves up in a bubble while Shao hao sacrificed himself to become the Mist of Pandaria.
The once single continent of Kalimdor became shattered into pieces and broken into several continents during the Great Sundering.
Aside from that their is the mystery behind the connection of the Kaldorei civilization with the Zandalari since they were once the reclusive Dark Trolls of the Empire of Zul which I hope will get addressed. Aside from that I have posted in MMO-C a speculation if Azshara could be one of the first Dark Trolls of Zandalari race. You may check it out and I gladly allow moderators here to bring it into highlight or discuss it furthere here.

Jaina, once rescued from Thros, the Blighted Lands, uses the power of her father's amulet and innate magic to locate the Kul Tiran fleet and mass-teleport them back to Boralus, defeating Lady Ashvane in the nick of time.
why havn't i seen this cinematic in game? Bugged, what else am I not seeing that i was supposed to...
From my understanding this cinematic plays after the Siege of Boralus Mythic Dungeon Story line, so if you haven't completed that yet, would be the reason you haven't seen it yet.

I'm looking foward to a showdown between Tyrande anda Azshara, they where polar oposite during The Sundering.
It would be nice to have Tyrande be badass on screen, she is said to be really strong on the lore and on the book "Eulogy" she manages to pin down Saurfang with her magic alone and he is really scared of her, admiting that he is no match to her powers
The most interesting thing about Azshara and Tyrande is that they are both beloved by their people to the point o fanactism, blessed by a god, extremely skilled on their craft.
Tyrande greatest fear is that one day she may become Azshara and lead her people on the same path.
I'm hoping for a better story for Tyrande and the Night Elf, they deserve better then this, I also hope the alliance to be there for then, helping reconquer the Darkshore and Ashenvale.

Ny'alotha I can only see as the location of an Azshara raid if we also face N'zoth in the same raid. More likely we face Azshara either in the ruins of her sunken city, or perhaps in some massive invasion raid where she attacks Kul'tiras or zandalar, similar to dragon soul.
