We want heroes and villains in both sides who inspires and motivates us. This Nietzsche's morality just doesn't fit with Warcraft.

Oh, no, Lilian baby, what you doin'? I had such high hopes for you, now you're just another Sylvanas?
Beastbro Rexxar is proving to be awesome as always though.

I do like Rexxar's staying true to a code of honor at least, he has dialogue at one point that says that he isn't looking forward to facing Jaina, and overall he seems really conflicted. Unfortunately, I think this contrasts poorly with Jaina's character arc where she's been contemplating if she should have just wiped out the entire Horde at several points in time, including the comic where she imagines Rexxar gleefully murdering her father.
This is probably one of the better examples of that morally grey mentality Blizzard wants, but it's always going to be overshadowed by the fact Sylvanas has very little motivation beyond "kill and raise everything." I wonder though, if Rexxar and Lillian Voss will keep to their promise of ensuring the Tidesage's family remains safe during the coming war.
This is probably one of my favorite of the War Campaign questlines. Also, it introduces a named Val'kyr. Which means its one of Sylvanas' special ones that can resurrect her. I have a feeling Alliance players will be fighting it at some point.

oh my god rexxar what are you doing in the horde? you are a good guy, he don't deserve to be in a monstrous faction.
New to Warcraft? only playing the alliance? well I got no actual reply for you but a sigh
He's Horde but he's also this guy:
"But why fight when there is no need? Why fight just for its own sake? That is not fighting to save anyone, or to win anything, or even for glory. It is fighting from sheer bloodlust, from love of violence alone. And I am sick of that. I want no part in it."
"You are the cowards! You are afraid to live truly, outside the shadows of lies and promises you have been bought with. You have no courage and no honor. That is why you cannot be trusted." The half-orc's shoulders slumped. "From now on, only the beasts will I trust."
"No one walks away from the Horde!" "Enough!" Grom shouted, glaring at them all. The dissenters fell silent. "Let him go," he ordered. "Rexxar has served the Horde well. Let him have his peace now."
-Beyond the Dark Portal.
So, hopefully something comes along that would align the man who said this with Sylvanas' Horde.

There is no honor in that. We can just ask. We have no qualms with a crying mother.
Rexxar for Warchief!

Seeing Voss willingly work with the Horde and Forsaken, talking about them positively, and even forcibly resurrecting people is just really... weird.
I wonder if she is aware of what happened at the Forsaken/Human meeting prior to BfA....
Force? She did not force him. He asked, she tried to dissuade him but he did ask. The only bit of text that seemed odd to me was when she told Kyra to resurrect him because he had been chosen instead of saying that he had chosen to become Forsaken.
I know that the whole thing seems out of character for Voss given her history and what we know about her but we don't know what has happened to her between the last time we see her and now. Perhaps, as has been mentioned, she has been lied to about what happened at the Horde/Alliance Summit and is being manipulated by Sylvanas to help carry out her plans.
True she's not forcing him. But what about Captain Stone ? Or Marshal Valentine ?

Forcibly? Mate, he ASKED her to be raised. Where's the forcibly in that?

What I want to know is why (apart from the meta reason of not wanting to make new models) he instantly turned into a rotten decayed monster. I mean he was still fresh and he died of sickness instead of wounds so he should have been pretty intact for a while. At least long enough to say goodbye.
Probably to make us feel sympathy for the Forsaken in general. “Look at how the living hate and shun us for no reason! Ignore the atrocities committed by our leader! We’re still the victims damn it!”
Maybe the process leaves the newly undead in the uncanny valley. Like an inverse capgras syndrome. Someone dying from a disease isn't going to look great, even if they aren't covered in rotting injuries. And since "uncanny impression" isn't something as easy to portray in the game as it would be in real life, using the Forsaken model is their approximation.

Yep apparently some ppl like that guy you've quoted can't read or are just trolling.
Thomas Zelling: Miss Voss, <cough> please... bring me back... I must help my family... I'll do anything... anything...
Thomas Zelling: I would... damn my soul... for all eternity... if it meant my family's happiness... please! You must...

I'm talking about the other people they are looking for. But sure, I can't read. Whatever.

I don't think that Lilian is too keen on the raising of new Forsaken, given her reluctance to raise Zelling despite his request. However, she is in a bit of an unfortunate situation. She feels she has a duty to help those going through the change come to terms with it, and not give in to despair like she did for a while. Her intentions seem to be to help the newly raised forsaken cope.
As for Valentine and Stone, that's more Nathanos pushing for it. Lilian only goes along with him because what else are you going to do when you have the biggest supporter of your tyrannical dictator breathing down your neck? Nathanos is cruel and vicious, and would happily slaughter Lilian if she showed any signs of disloyalty. Could she fight back? Possibly sure. But then if she failed, she'd be leaving all those innocent people brought back against their will to the mercy of Sylvanas and Nathanos.
She's a rogue. She knows the value of playing your cards close to your chest and bluffing until you've got the upper hand.
In addition, part of the reason we don't see this as players may be because we're too close to Sylvanas. During this war, we are essentially the closest physical presence of the Warchief on Zandalar/Kul Tiras. In short, she can't trust us.

Necromancy works like that, if you raise someone from the dead they immediately became rotten and decaying. When his family dont recognize him, thats where they intended to the player to feel sympathy imo not the raising.

That's actually a fairly reasonable argument for once.

The Ally in these comments are so hell-bent on whining about anything and everything that they completely missed the man beg for his Forsaken resurrection. I just had a hearty morning laugh.
Cheers.

Mind pointing out where those people were brought up in this article? I'm not saying the Horde isn't doing bad things, but in this specific situation his services were needed BUT he also requested his undeath. OP put his foot in his mouth and it was hilarious.
Cry about it.

She will be aware the same way all the undead are. They think the alliance tricked and brutally murdered forsaken. It's no wonder she is motivated to help the horde out
