"There's no way the rope will hold," Aaron replied scornfully. "But maybe you can do the same thing as with the giant, ha ha."

"Possible if i get close enought, i could jump down from a tree on it... But then you need to make him come under the trees..." Falionna said rubing her cheek with her hand.

"I trust the lady knows what she's doing," the deathstalker replied shortly. He then turned to his men and called: "Let's get on the move, out of the open. Mount up!"

"That could be more literal than you know," Vladimer said, pausing by one of the buildings as they made their trek to the next cage, knocking his gloved knuckles against the wooden frame of one of the buildings. "You have an inner pyromaniac somewhere?"

"And this shall be your last," the darkfallen stated confidently. As if summoned by words unheard, three Cult of the Damned servants came striding down the corridor and bowed to their master before dragging the orc corpse off down the hallway. "I shall wait upon you once the ritual is complete. Now you better follow them; I am sure you would hate to miss your own resurrection."
The elf turned elegantly on his heel and marched off the way they had come.

Slate frowned as the lodge came into sight. "Amberpine," he growled. "Army scum are here."
"Patience," Tascoso said with an airy wave of one hand. "We are not recognizable by sight. Only Captain Haysworth was, and, well, he's now resting in pieces."

"Shouldn't we head south?" Slate asked, an hour or so later. They had stopped by the Lodge for information and had left freshly armed. "Valgarde should be our next stop, in my opinion."
"Not yet," Tascoso replied with a shake of his head. "We need allies before returning south. They require it."
Slate opened his mouth to say exactly what he thought of

, but the blast and sickening drop flashed back through his mind, and he closed it again. "I just think that we aren't going to do much good out here in the wilderness," he said sullenly. "There's few people to find and fewer still will listen to us."
"Perhaps," Tascoso acknowledged. "But I feel something about the air in this region... something feral. They will guide us to what we need."
After that, he refused to talk, and the miles dragged by in silence.

Vladimer removed a dagger from his sheath and proceeded to crudely cut a piece of cloth from part of his outfit to help bandage the mangled, open wound the soldier inside the cage was afflicted with. After binding the injury, the assassin guided the man back towards the cliffs and sent him on his way.
He adjusted his hat, looking southwards towards the forest, the muffled sounds of battle managing to reach his ears from where he stood.
Hannah sucked in a sharp breath, missing a headshot and cringing. Faile had ducked away from nearly having one of her wings cut off. The Vrykul the woman had been aiming at finished carving up a Valgarde soldier and turned to where the bullet had come from, hefting his enormous axe and swinging it at the branch Hannah was hiding in.
She scrambled backward, barely clinging to the tree as the entire branch gave way from the force of the giant's attack.
Around her, the soldiers were clinging to the battle, but they were steadily being pushed back.

Lucien sighed. "We're helping them most as is..." He told the assassin. "But we're spending a lot of time like this, might be best to split up."
