I would recommend you just level up to 90 and max out professions for some decent income.

If you have an upgraded account (Cata and up) level more. Just by questing and selling the rewards you don't use you can get about 5k for Cata zones.

Continuing death,s post.
And about 7k ( if u do lore master ) from 85-90 zones.
4k if just doing what ya need to level.

I think the OP has a normal account, so level 80 is the maximum.
What are the rewards? I've seen the quest lines I need to start and all but not much on what the rewards are, I'm just wondering how people make money with these. Are there large sum of gold rewards or is it item-rewards-selling based?
The money comes from the quests themselves. Once you have reached the maximum level available to you, quests will give additional gold, which is 'converted' from the experience they would give if you could level further.
The item rewards of reputation factions are not automatically granted like quest rewards, instead you can purchase them from quartermaster vendors, e.g.
Duchess Mynx
for the
Knights of the Ebon Blade
.
Of course, WotLK dailies will grant more money than BC ones. Though, especially the Netherwing grind can be interesting and offers cool mounts. There's a
great guide on that topic
.
So, to make money, just continue doing quests in Northrend, not just the dailies, but also the normal quests, as those give more money as well, and of course tell the story :)

To further amplify, daily quests generally exist to allow you to increase your reputation with a faction (Netherwing for example) or to accrue a special kind of currency (Champion's Seal, Dalaran Jewelcrafters Token).
Of course, these daily quests also award experience (if you aren't level capped) and gold so while most of time the dailies are done only until you've achieved the desired reputation or quantity of the special currency, the 'extra' rewards of xp and/or gold can be sufficient reason to keep doing those dailies indefinitely.
You most definintely could handle doing dailies at your level.
The BC dailies can be researched by looking up the various BC factions (Ogri'la, Netherwing, Shattered Sun Offensive), as can the ones in Northrend (Kalu'ak, Silver Convenant etc).
Most people forget that there are 89 levels before cap, and 4 other continents to explore. Kudos for wringing enjoyment out of the part of the game that you want. You don't have to be a lemming and barrel to 90.
