HAHA! TIME FOR SOME SHAMELESS SELF-ADVERTISING!
My
Light and Frost Saga is perhaps the longest-running series on these forums. And since I like to brag; I'm the reason the Lore and Roleplaying forum was started in the first place!
There's also my
Gilnean Moon, a creative look through my mind a the late days of the worgen epedemic in Gilneas, and the early days of the Gilnean's war against the Forsaken.
For something that isn't mine, though, I STRONGLY recommend
Skreeran's
Birth of Hatred series. The rivalry between the two characters it features (Dag'rema and Kitanga) has become the stuff of fan-fiction legends around here. I also say you should read his
One We Were Warriors tale; which features Garrosh's early days upon arriving in Durotar from Outland (and is a FAR better look at the character than what Blizzard has given us).
I look forward to you enjoying all of the works reccommended here, and I welcome you whole-heartidly to the
Wowhead Lore and Roleplaying Forum: Where Sanity Goes to Die.

Do you have them in pdf form that you would be willing to send me, then I can just throw them on my nook so I don't have to go post by post? I would like to read your book.
Sadly, no. The only backup copies I have are those in my IRL notebooks. Sorry.
