Randomly enchanted gear, is it worth of time to get

Hello.
I was browsing around in database when I ran to these greenstone gear pieces as reward from scenarios.
Now basically I did juggle around with comparison tool and found this
some comparison of stats in randomly enchanted gear
I know that finding all those pieces with right enchantments would be nearly same as finding the needle in haystack. (or winning the jackpot in lottery xD)
Now my more relevant question here is, that is those gear pieces better than their heroic drop counter parts especially, when the randomly enchanted gear do NOT have any gem sockets.
What basically annoys me greatly is that nearly all gear in heroics has crit rating on it and you gotta reforge it to something else, yet crit is for ret paladins the least beneficial stat and has the largest requirement to same % as hit and expertise...
So what you think?

Really Speaking the gear is ok when your first gearing your toon but as you see dungeon drops that are upgrades then get them.
Basicly look at Scen. as a way to get a few peices possiblily to get you into heroics after that there vendor/Enchanting trash.

I may be wrong, but I believe the bags from scenarios give you items relative to your spec.
Granted, this is a really small sample size, but I ran 3 scenarios with two friends of mine last night. I got one blue, they each got two. Every single item matched the armor type and spec of the person that opened the bag.
With how quickly scenarios run (and how much faster a solo DPS can get through the queue than a heroic), I can totally see this being a decent alternative for gearing. It's not ideal, but it definitely has its value for DPS that don't want to wait forever for a queue.

Okay, it seems that this topic got less attennion than I expected.
Now idea behind this is to bit theorycraftic as I did calculate that this set gives you actually hit and expertise caps easily and don't any of stats that are expensive or useless (lLike crit is for ret paladins)
What I wonder now is that why nearly all melee DPS gear in MoP gives crit rating ? Reforging ?
It would be so much more of fun to get gear you like, rather than to get some weirdly designed pieces that are distributed here and there. (Farming heroics)

The main problem with want your saying is getting the peices to drop from the bags. Then after the peice drops getting the 1 or 2 Peices out of the lot with the stats that you want for your toon.
Some of the peices that have crit aren't that bad to get and are going to be better then the random peices like the Helm that was brought up. It has Meta and Sockets.
The random gear is only going to be better then the dungeon gear for the peices that don't have Sockets in them. Then your going to have to Sim each peice to see want is better. But in most casts your trading 60-100 Strenght and 80-160 of a Secondary Stat. (Depending on your gem Choice and Socket Bonus)
Honestly I don't mind having some of my gear peices with Crit on them. Yes it sucks that its not one of our best stats but its not that far behind Mastery and Ej is even saying to keep them balanced as possible. But the good think with the Crit is that gives you an easy target to Reforge into something more useful thats not already on the gear.

Yeah I am very aware of these pieces dropping from very randomly from scenario bags.
I actually got one and did ingame comparison which drove me wonder a littlebit.
So I took some time and made a comparison chart between the randomly enchanted gear and the heroics drops. (Take a note here that almost all heroics gear do have crit rating over more needed stats so this leads me wonder how items were balanced in development stage)
And here are results (updated)
Now what sims do people use to compare the gear ? Personally I would be curious enough to see both simmed and real world results for those compared sets.
Now I would say that difference way smaller than I expected.
Now both sets miss trinkets just because I don't want to choose your lucky charm to use.
And personally I haven't cared for EJ statements for long time, since I have heard too many of "EJ THIS EJ THAT" statements without own thinking behind what you say, doesn't that make you look like an a idiot if you just repeat all you hear like a parrot ? I think it does or it should atleast.
What I want to promote is critical thinking by your self and learning skills of critical thinking.
So my personal opinion here is : While that randomly enchanted gear may be luck based to get, it still is pretty viable option untill you get the valor pieces in your hands, and probably even easier to farm since you can get those from scenarios rewards bags and scenarios are usually faster to complete.
Oh and if someone wonders why I don't like EJ references is that I have heard so many idiotic statements "according to EJ this and that and even the cows fly" from many players. I don't give any source the one and only scource of knowledge status because there is not. I prefer to compare data and do some research my self as well, this has brought me some very interesting discoveries over the years.

Your link is broken your linking Wrath Rings.
Ej has Crit rating just a few tenths behind Mastery so its still worth it on gear specially if it has Haste or Hit/Exp on the gear. I just simed my toon and then is a 1.2 difference between Mastery and Crit. Comparing numbers thats not that big of a Gap compared to where it could be.
Here is a Profil that you can play around with.
http://www.wowhead.com/profile=35016790
There are a few Issues with Wowhead Profils to note. First is Stats are Wrong so balance Hit/Exp to Soft Cap or 2550 or -340 if you have a Racial for the Stat. Second is that Gems/Enchants haven't been updatated. So you can't put the Current stats on your gear.
You can plug the Greenstone peices into slots if you want but your going to be missing alot of Secondary Stats the GreenStone peices have around 300 or So of Each Secondary Stat where the Heroic Drops have around 300 and 500+ of the Secondary Stats. And this is again not Counting Socket and Gem Bonus.
So no the random Peices of Gear are not as good as the Heroic Peices. But in some slots they are useful but for most slots the Heroic gear is better.

@Atomicwolf22 I did repair link and here is new one as well, which should link to two sets I originally intented to have
Comparison of randomly enchanted gear and heroics drops
Now this is funny, in comparison tool, gear there is not accurately showing their stats of randomly enchanted gear pieces, so there is bias for the heroic dungeon drops. However comparison tool shows the stats below gear in comparison chart correctly, so that should give better idea how those pieces do.
Here is also comparison which shows all randomly enchanted gear individually

Nice but your need a fix a few more things.
On the GreenSteel Set your useing 2 Jc Eyes but none in the Other gear. Your useing the Scrib Shoulder Enchant on GreenSteel but not the Enchant on the Heroic Gear. and your using BS Sockets on GreenSteel but your missing Gloves on the Heroic. And you also missied some Reforges on the Heroic Gear.
If the Enchants where blanced useing no Profession Bonuses, the Heroic Set would have about 600 More Strenght then the Random Gear. The heroic gear would also have to have some Different Reforges and Gems to Soft cap stats. But after the changes would still have around 300 More Strenght. and Mastery. (Ret's gem solid yellow in yellow sockets and Orange in Red, More Haste = Faster Cd's which = more dps)
So the break down is Heroic Gear 300 Strenght and 2200 Crit Rating vs. Random 1000 Mastery.
