It's not Outlands, it's Outland.
And I would level with the Dungeon Finder. But I don't know what your professions are, I'd try to keep those leveled, so maybe do routes or do parts of zones.

Hellfire to 60, Zangarmarsh to 64 or so, then off to Nagrand till 68.

Professions may limit you to starting in Hellfire Peninsula to start but after that I would make sure to do the following:
1) Go to Nagrand and get rep for the Kurenai in Telaar
Kurenai
. When exalted you have access to 8 fine land mounts, the Talbuks and War Talbuks.
2) I would then jump over to pursuing rep with the Sha'tari Skyguard
Sha'tari Skyguard
as they have 6 Nether Rays for becoming exalted. Their "questline" starts in Shatt and will take you to the Skethyl Mountains (border of Terrokar and Shadowmoon Valley) as well as to Ogri'la in the Blade's Edge Mountains.
3) Finally (and probably close to in time for going to Northrend) I would go to Shadowmoon Valley and get exalted with the Netherwing
Netherwing
for their (you guessed it) collection of 5 Netherwing Drakes.
With these 19 mounts you will have a unique collection and probably experience enough to migrate to Northrend. There are lots of other things to do in Outland - so many that I have a toon locked at 70 and immersed in the Burning Crusade expansion material.
Have fun!

It's not Outlands, it's Outland.
Technically, it doesn't matter, because either way the actual name; just not on the map; is Draenor.

That's more like it, thanks Adam. Why do you suggest that's the best way?
Because Hellfire is a pain in the ass, the quests in Zangarmarsh unlock at 64, Terrokar is horrible, and Blades Edge also sucks, so hit Nagrand.

The problem with doing the Kurenai, Skyguard, and Netherwing reputation is that it's a LOT of grinding, which will probably burn out the OP.
Not to mention if they were really interested in it, they could come back at a higher level and make it trivial.
I took my DK through (almost) all of Hellfire from 58 to 68.
There were maybe a dozen runs of various random dungeons in there.
The switch of Hellfire to Zangarmarsh at 64 is also because the Hellfire quests start to green out at 64 and aren't as rewarding.

The issue with the Skyguard and Netherwing grind? Both of those require level 70 and to even unlock Netherwing you need Epic Flight speed, also only available at level 70; so those are not worthwhile leveling choices for the 58-68 area lol.

The quests in Zang unlock at 60, and the ones in Nagrand unlock at 64.
Just a slight slip there buddy.
Cheers.

Well, I finished Hellfire a while ago, and I have to say, it's not bad at all, but it felt like I took ages. (Back in Azeroth, I was generally able to complete a zone a day in the few hours I played; whereas in Outland, I took days to just do a zone.) in Zangarmarsh now as a level 62. Will I spend just as much time there?
Do Zang until level 64. Then go to Nagrand. Have you done any dungeons yet? I queue for each specifically, as there are quests at the start of each dungeon that are great.
Have fun.
Cheers.
