Multi Speccing Bars/binds

Was just curious if there was anything out there that made life all the easier when switching specs as far as keeping binds and bars (as binds are only character specific and are keyboard bound). I currently use BT4 and been messing with bars for pve and pvp and binds/macros but everytime i get pvp set to how i want wheni go back to pve, everything is all jacked up. Was wondering if there was an easy addon way to work with it, or make it quite simple to fix rather than seemingly complex. Anyways, any info would be appreciated, I thank you =)
*edit*
Also using naga, I didnt know if maybe that the bar add on they had would be bett or not, havent even looked at it but just seems all it would do is layout 3x4 is all, not sure, just throwing it out there, lol

I have had no issue with using BT4 and my G13 when switching specs. I know that I did have to switch the specs and reset all the spells and such to the bars, but they change automagically on switching specs such as my swap between holy and shadow on my priest.
So my question is, are you using 2 different specs between PVE and PVP or using one spec and switching spells around on the bars based on differences in the priority of the spells?

wrlwnd: Yes, I am using Affliction spec for both PvE / PvP and as you most likely know spells differ and etc etc. So my switching specs does not switch bars and neither does doing so with my profiles through BT. Switching profiles will activate the corresponding bars, but i took adcantage of all the bars and wondering if that is where my fault may lie, instead of (i.e) using bars 1-4 for pvp profile and 1-4 pve profile i use 14 for pve and 5-9 pvp and what not, which would obviously throw my binds off, as it would be a completely different set of buttons.
Was also thinking if that is the case (which would be just a silly and dumb mishap on my end and apologize for wasting your time, is If i could use the same bars but have different spells placed on them as far as priority/organizing them would go if it would be correct upon siwtching profiles and/or spec.

So do you have different affliction specs for main and off?
If so they
should
change with the spec change, but if not I am not sure. I think that if you use the same tree in both specs it should change, but as I said I know that I had to change spell mapping between the specs. Also there are changes between stances as I am finding out with my rogue when going into
Stealth
.

Same spec, different trees/build.
So you are saying that when i change from Apec A to spec B that my BT should as well? If so it is not. Reason I also brought up profiling (if anyone would know) as a more viable option? Same bars different spells? Only issues then would be on binds as there is not really a set rotation as far as pvp more of on the fly with a certain intent, would want to segregate spells more for my own personalizaztion and knowing, rather than how it would be for pve or it is not that big of a deal.

I will have to double check it when I get on the wow computer tonight, but it should be work. I will dual spec my rogue and modify the tree and layout and see what I find.
It may take the use of profiles, but I have not messed with them much.

Understood, and not a problem, and thank you :) I am just moving my bars around for now, since X-Z being used for one and A-D for another, each spec change involves swapping bars, good times, lol

So I have just logged onto my rogue that I am leveling and put the same spec on both main and secondary. I swapped specs and moved a couple of my abilities on my main bars. When I switch between the specs the moved abilities move on their respective bars.

ok, so i just need to use the same bars and then just figure out way that suits for managing macros and/or binds, or change the binds iven the task at hand. Thank you :)

/use Bane of Agony; Corruption
I don't know how many of these types of macros you would need, but you can put all your first spec's spells in place of Bane of Agony above and all your second spec's spells in place of Corruption. If you use a crapload of bars and keybinds, you might be able to condense everything into just a couple with macros.

Download these two addons:
Toggle Hotkeys
.
Action Bar Saver.
For me, these are an absolute necessity. I play a Death Knight with a Frost PvE, Frost PvP, Unholy PvP, Blood PvE, Blood PvP, and sometimes even an Unholy PvE spec. I also play a Mage with a Frost PvP spec, Fire PvE spec, Fire PvP spec, Arcane PvE spec, and sometimes even Arcane PvP spec. For each one of those I need a separate bar setup and keybind mapping (so I can keep the binds I want without putting the buttons in undesirable places). With these I can just /abs restore and then /th and have it load whichever keybinding mappings I prefer from a drop-down list. (Only, don't try to load keybinds in combat, you'll DC).

Yes, that is it just change the bars and keybinds(if needed) to suit the need.
My use as I said earlier is with a G13 and I have my bars laid out in the same setup as the G13. you can see a view
here
from my mage from a while ago, but same idea.
What I did on my rogue was to move the ability from the key labeled A5 to A7 and 5 to 7. and when swapping between specs the ability moved.

Wrl: Yea that is what I though, I cant believe i couldnt thnk of that =\ It is always the simple stuff that is the hardest! lol. Thanks for your time with it :)
Ark: That would work, but the facr I am a total noob and dumb when it comes to macros, the last thing I want to do is add somehing else while still trying to learn/write them =\ though it would work and it could just be thrown in, i could see me making many of mistakes and having many migranes lol!
Orranis: TH looks like it would be very helpfull, as far as swapping hots, thank you for that! Will have to give it a shot, and the bar swapper, as My classes are not as advanced and varied as yours, so the simple spec change swap is good for now, but mayhbe it will be usefull at some point :D
Thank you all for the helps and ideas :D Even though some of it was kinda dumb on my part, lol. Now just to do macros...the joy!
