Hey all. Currently I have:
Sharpened Scarlet Kris
+
Agility
Bloodsoaked Skullforge Reaver
+
Enchant Weapon - Crusader
and I was wondering if I should use either of those for Combat, or pick up what I can as I level - currently I'm using
Buzz Saw
The second part of my question is that I'm fed up of '
can't use that yet'
,
'spell isn't ready yet',
'target is in combat
' appearing above my head in red, and was wondering if there was any way of removing it? Thanks for your help :)

Why wouldn't you have
Venerable Mass of McGowan

I think it's somewhere in options, and I've seen an addon that remove them.

For combat, you want a slow (about 2.60) speed main-hand weapon and a fast (about 1.40) offhand weapon. You also want to go with agility weapons. Stick the
Sharpened Scarlet Kris
in your offhand and either pick up the
Venerable Mass of McGowan
for mainhand, or use
Buzz Saw
or any other slow agility weapon until the
Bloodsoaked Skullforge Reaver
has a higher weapon DPS then switch to that.
As for the error text, you can download the addon (
ErrorFilter
) or macro this to all of your abilities:
/script UIErrorsFrame:Clear()
This will clear any errors caused by the macro but doesn't turn them off permanently.Unfortunately, you can't turn the text off from the in-game options, but you can disable the error sounds your character makes.

Because I don't, lol. I wanted to level a Hunter and a Rogue so got two of the daggers and full leather set, and a while back I leveled a tank so had that. I simply have never wanted to level an enchance shammy or combat rogue enough to want to get that item, and I sure as hell ain't farming for 10 hours to get it ^^
I know about the speed and all that - I just thought if my daggers/tank sword provided me with a higher number would it be worth using it despite the loss of agility really ^^
Will check that addon out. I have that ability macroed but I'm still getting "not enough energy" or "Target is too far away" - on a small laptop it really gets in the way of my combat text and looks hella messy. Thanks, saved my life :)
