Greetings!
I am part of team doing a study on the World of Warcraft Looking-For-Raid (LFR) system. We’re interested in how players have experienced the current LFR system, particularly loot distribution. If you have run LFR before, please take this 10-minute survey and let us know your opinions and your LFR strategies. Your responses will be kept anonymous and used only for our study (that is – we aren’t working for Blizzard, we're scholars interested in systems like LFR wherever they pop up).
Two participants will be randomly chosen to win a 30-day WoW Game Time code after the completion of the study.
Thanks for your time! Here’s the link: see box below
If you want to know more about the study, here's some extra information:
We're interested in ways that rule-based systems like LFR change the way players approach loot situations, especially when interactions are anonymous. We're also interested in how players perceive the motivations of others within these systems.
The study is being done by Travis L. Ross, Indiana University, and Lauren B. Collister, University of Pittsburgh.(##RESPBREAK##)16##DELIM##asakawa##DELIM##The link is:

on the horde or alliance question there should be a both option ;)

Also, some of the questions ought to have a "none of the above" option. I haven't managed to run a LFR with a friend yet, so I don't know how often I'd be tempted to roll on loot for them.

I don't know who the "researchers" are behind this survey but this isn't an outstanding example of how to create one.

I think overall the results will be if someone can roll need they will regardless if they can or will use the item or not. This needs to be fixed. I will continue to run LFR anyway in hopes to win items I want but I don't get my hopes up anymore just because I see the item I want drop.
Go read the Blue posts from a few months ago, they talk about how the looting system will be changed come Mists.

I guess you should add that these Game Time cards are US/NA only. Unless you give out EU ones too, but in that case you should mention that, too :)

Survey done and I hope to win the 30 days being as my time card has ran out and I have as yet to land a new job.

Two things have to change for LFR to stick around....
1. Loot
2. Encounter starting by one idiot
Good luck!

Jumbodog, clicking a "4", as it's in the middle of 1-7, indicates that you are precisely in the middle of the two available options. So that's how you would show that you do two things equally - unless I misunderstand your question.
Nulgar, thanks for pointing that out. We intend to purchase game time via the WoW site for the winners, and I don't know if we (as US players) can purchase time for EU accounts. I'll have to look into that!
Thank you everyone for your input. No survey is perfect, so I'll definitely note everyone's comments and remember them as we analyze the results. The "none of the above" option is particularly unfortunate, but I hope we will still be able to see some interesting answers. Also, we're still looking for people, so if you haven't taken it yet, we'd really appreciate your input!

Filled in the survey. Hope it helps whatever research you are carrying out.
Didn't fill in my email though.

My survey looked like 711711711711711711711711. That wasn't intentional; rather, it was truthful.
:)
I started LFR by rolling as the devs probably intended I roll, but that went quickly out the window when I realized I was the only one rolling greed for OS items.

I have completed the survey, I hope the information I gave is useful to you.
I rather enjoyed that too.
