"WoW is addicting" *checks strongly disagree*
What, you don't like WoW?

Survey done.
Although I have to say, might wanna rephrase a couple of questions.
The "I play Wow because I'm lonely" might get a very low score due to not many realizes it, or want to acknowledge it.

He said it was not addicting, didn't mention if it was fun or not.
I agree with him. I just came back after a 2 years hiatus because my friends kept on nagging me to death. Didn't miss it while I wasn't playing. I enjoy playing it, but I don't find it addicting.

Exactly. I often hear the argument "Well if it's not addicting, would you delete your characters and stop playing?" No, because I still enjoy it.
It's like if I enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles with my girlfriend and every night we sat down for 2 hours and did jigsaw puzzles. "Well you are addicted. If you aren't addicted, then throw away all the puzzles and stop doing it." Well, no, I'm not going to do that.
That said, a question like "WoW is addicting" is a question that I can only answer for myself. It's not addicting to me. It might be addicting to other people though, but for me it's not.
That whole second Agree/Disagree page was just a ton of Disagrees for me, except for the one near the bottom asking if you think about WoW when you aren't playing. Yeah, I think about WoW when I'm not playing. I also think about Work when I'm not at work. I think about Driving when I'm not driving.
The question of "I play more WoW than I want to." is a weird one. I play -exactly- the amount of WoW that I want to, since I'm the one in control of that decision...

I thought the same. I'm close to graduating college but I'm also full time employed. I work more than I study and play WoW together.

Anyone who doesn't believe WoW is addicting, even if they think they are not addicted, is deluding themselves.
Cheers.

Agreed but in what way? Is it addictive in the same way as sugar or caffeine, or nicotine, alcohol or THC? Or worse?
When it comes down to the individual I think its up to them to decide if their time spent playing wow is harming themselves or others and if they can honestly say it isnt then they are safe.
