What will happen to Garrosh?

Actually I believe that Blizzard has confirmed that there are more Old Gods out there other than the ones on Azeroth, but it "takes a lot of them to manifest on the physical plane" or something like that.
So there are other Old Gods out there, but whether their corporeal or just exist as abstract entities is anybodys guess.

They've never out right stated it, so that's up in the air.
Eh, since other then a Proto-Old-God and a single Quarji encountered off of Azeroth, it's 'too' soon to tell if the Old God infection is through out the 'verse....unless the WMG about Dreadlords being Old Gods avatars ever comes true heh.
That's the thing, we just don't know. I might have jumped the gun a bit (ME? DOING THAT? I NEVER) for the sake of comedy but even a Proto-Old-God is proof enough that they're also "out there" and aren't necessarily native of Azeroth.
Meaning, there could be a link between the two. Maybe not as direct but enough of one.
Plus, there could be a possibility that there's something even further than the Old Gods and the Legion tying them together.
Heh, War of Light and Darkness?

The quote I was refering to was from an Ask the Devs I believe, but I cant seem to find it atm so I could be wrong.

After countless hours of research and theory crafting, I have figured out what Garrosh's dying quote shall be.
I used to be a Warchief like you, then I took an arrow to the throat.
I hope this clears up some confusion.

That's the thing. I'm not sure how I feel about Garrosh as the Big Bad of this expansion.
I hated Garrosh with the burning fire of a thousand suns at first...and it figures that right when he was actually starting to grow on me,
now
we're to kick his tattooed butt and depose him. >_>
Plus the thought of a capital city as a raid instance weirds me out a bit, too.
Anyway, I know Vol'jin has "dibs" on landing the killing blow, but I'd watch out for Jaina, too, if I were Garrosh. Something tells me that after what he has done to Theramore, she's got a permanency Polymorph Pig spell with his name on it.

Would be cool if Hellscream and Thrall killed eachother, making Thrall's kid become the new Warchief. Oh and I hope Sylvanas dies, idc if Garrosh kills her or whatever, I just hope she dies :)

Thrall's kid isn't even born. Also, Warchief isn't hereditary.

Maybe Lillian Voss will be the new Warchief?

I know but I'm saying his kid would be born by then and he would claim the Warchief's Throne.

We don't know how long of a time skip is between Dragon Soul and the start of MoP.
Chances are Thrall's kid won't be much older than, like, 4...
What I'm curious about when it comes to his kid, is how it might affect Varian's view of Thrall.
I mean, all this time, Varian usually sees Thrall as a green-skinned monster. But, suddenly Thrall has a son... something Varian can relate to....
Might make Captain Chin view him in a whole new light.

She's dying in the new Scholomance, and I couldn't be happier.

Yeah...it's not 16 years between the end of Cata to the end of MoP.....and even then, the kid would have to prove itself as the strongest of the Orcs to be the leader.

He can get out of that one.
True. But at least he'd be suffering his comeuppance for at least a little while. Plus it preserves his character in case the devs want to do something with him later.
Or they combine the two so we have Voljin eating pig at the end of the raid...
LOL That would be darkly poetic.
"Well,
technically
it's not cannibalism!"
nom nom nom
I just figured it might be fitting to actually
deny
Garrosh a glorious death in battle, and instead leave him to a humiliating fate. Perhaps toss him into a pigsty somewhere as a level 1 critter and give him a mechanic like the chickens in the Legend of Zelda series -- unkillable, but harmless and fun to kick around to your heart's content.
Again, something along these lines would be satisfying punishment for his misdeeds, plus it keeps him alive for potential use in future storylines. I never thought I'd actually hear myself say this, but I don't want to see him just killed off and forgotten like your average raid boss. It would seem like such a waste of a character.

Ahh true, then I'm thinking Saurfang will take it. He's always been one of the strongest Orcs, and he quoted himself in Warsong Hold that he would kill Garrosh himself before he took the Orcs down that bloodthirsty warmongering road again. He was sort of left at the side in Cataclysm, maybe now he'll reappear?

He was a choice for the original Warchief replacement....then Thrall decided no, let him live out the rest of his days in Northrend, since the death of his son broke his spirit.

Saurfang may be more able now though, that hes had time to grieve properly for his son. Jeez what is it with people in the Saurfang family having these suicidally heroic moments where they bum rush something much bigger and stronger than they are. Im thinking Saurfang will be warchief for like 10 minuts, then he'll up and charge and Old God or something with an axe....

Talk about a waste of character there...
I've always considered her a massive waste of space =P.

Meh. The more I think about it, the more I hate it.
Albeit slowly, but Garrosh really was developing a complex and interesting personality...only for the devs to just turn around and completely assassinate his character.
I'm still hoping that they're not telling us everything and Garrosh ends up being salvageable.
And the thought of a faction capital being the setting for the endgame raid still weirds me out as well. It's different, admittedly, but I don't like it.
