I swear... this is complete crap. My account has been active since vanilla launch day and I got AP the day it came out....

He had said it was based on cumulative subscription rather than start date, so perhaps if you took a break that would be the reason for not being included yet?

All Blizzard said was AP holders get guaranteed Beta access, they did not say when, They could let you in on the last day of testing and they will still have held their end of the bargain.

It would likely be against their implied covenant of good faith if they just gave you access on the last day to try and meet their contractual obligations, and so they could be in breach.

Quit being so entitled.
You aren't special.

They paid for it . They are absolutely entitled.

I think blizzard gave me the wrong beta. I received the D3 Beta instead of MoP last night lol. Oh well, at least I have something to be entertained with till I receive my beta invite for MoP.

Edit: Make sure you check your junk mail. Sometimes beta invites get throw into the junk box.

Nah, stick to checking your battle.net account.

Well, you can check the junk to see if you have a Beta; just go to the actual site to get it rather then clicking on the link in the inbox.

If people are acting impatient because they see all the good stuff and want to see it for themselves, well, then let them wait their turn. They're promised a go, an invite will come. All good comes to those who wait.

However.

If blue posts claim that invites will be sent with regards to cumulative subscription and date the AP was purchased (note: NOT account age, check thelaks's link to verify), then you can expect people to start objecting if proof starts seeping out that refutes this very claim of theirs. Then it seems like Blizzard isn't being true to their own word, and then people rightfully speak up. If you say A, you've got to do A. You can't go around doing B and expect people to just let someone else cut in line - provided, of course, that this has been the case; in some cases it can be confusing when people think something like account age matters.

The 'precious little snowflake' in this case is not about being picked first, but it's about the unfairness regarding the invitation order not matching the order set by Blizzard themselves. Now there is a difference.

What do the subject lines of the emails say? I'm sifting through junk mail folders now and don't want to deal with that garbage.

Also, I have another question. Last beta, I remember opting, but that time, we were notified basically to check email. As with this beta, tons of obvious scam/phishing junk mail was sent (but no Beta "you were chosen!" email).

However, this time, I have heard you can get info directly on your battle.net.

I was just there a minute ago and I may have overlooked it... can anyone give me a link/address? Thank you.

GETTING STARTED

1. Get the Installer:

Log in to your Battle.net® account. Click the "Account" tab, then click on the "World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria" tab under "Your Game Accounts". Download your client by selecting "Windows" or "Mac".

2. Install the World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria client:

Run the installer. Wait for the "Checking for Updates" and "Updating Setup Files" windows to complete, and click "Install".* Scroll down to the end of the Beta Test Agreement, and click "Agree".

*If you would like to install additional languages, click the "Change" button next to "Selected Languages" and check all applicable boxes.

3. Run the Game:

Wait for the install process to complete and the "Play" button to light up. Press "Play" to enter the game. You can tell it's actually from Blizzard in this case; heading was World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Beta Test Invitation‏ and from WoWMoPBeta.

I always love(insert sarcasm font) seeing those who in situations like this complain that they are not the FIRST one invited in things like this.

There were around 1 million who signed up for the annual pass. They are inviting about10% of those in this wave.

I could see the complaints if they invited more and the beta servers constantly crash due to loading issue.

I will wait till I get my invite and then enjoy testing the new stuff. I am also looking forward to seeing what they have done with the various classes that my "mains".

I will probably be in a later wave, but if so such is life.

My acounty has only been active since new years day '08 with no lapses and my date for renewal of annual pass is 10/29.

I know I will get my beta invite and will test the content then.

You might "love" that but others do not. Maybe you don't care or even don't notice when faceslapped and lied to. Oh and please stop playing the righteous mature forum user or we might take you for a Blizzf**k employee. All the QQ aimed at this trick is well entitled to exist.

Back on track now, I swear it's the last time when I'm falling for Blizzard-ish greedy corporate bull#$%^. Such people would even sell their mothers to get more money because money are their God.

1. so you get Diablo 3 for free. Big deal. F**k that, I now regret that I'm getting the digital copy instead of the Collector's Edition with all the goodies (especially wings and USB).

2. "Early" access to MoP Beta. Early my ass. After advertising something, they come up with "seniority", "cumulated game time" and "Anual Pass subscribing date". Why did they not set these terms when advertising the AP and its benefits? Oh, because profits wouldn't have been so big. A good lawyer is what one would need against this bunch of ************s. although I highly doubt that somewhere in the ToC of the AP these conditions are not well hidden. They can claim "early access" means before regular beta invites. Wow, I got "early access" one month before launch, übercool!

Bli$$ard is getting more and more annoying and it's no wonder subscribers and sales are falling. For the moment the big fishes at the top are still holding on. Let's see for how much longer. I'm relishing the prospect of them filing in for bankruptcy one day.
