I like it, it's mostly a fun show, sometimes it can go too far imo, but it's fun.. almost on par with the simpsons.

My husband and i used to watch family guy alot. Not so much cuz we though it was great but because it is like the only thing on late at night around here. Now that we have an almost 2 year old that picks up everything we don't allow the adult humor on our tv where she can see it. My husband will watch it on his computer if he is in the livingroom though because Mickey Mouse Clubhouse drives him nuts.

It depends on my mood will I sit and watch it but in general it is a good show with great moments now and than.

I used to love it. Watched every episode. It's still
okay
now, but sometimes I don't understand the motivation behind the 'shocking' side of the show. Everyone talks about the Clam Chowder scene like it's a classic, but it's people puking for several minutes.
I stopped watching the show due to an increase in gross-out humour, ending with s8e17 - the bank vault one. I don't know who it is that wants to see that sort of stuff, or who it is that thinks it's clever, or even remotely worthy of being broadcast.
Coach Sue is quite correct - art there merely to push boundaries is probably bad art.

You need to have a bit of opening to really understand that family guy is more than a comedy show , just look careful and you'll see what i mean , really it even more amusing if you see it that way :P

I watch it all the time xD. I'm 20 now & grew up watching the Simpson and used to love it, but ever since family guy came out I think it has out shown them all. there not afraid to say what we're all thinking at some point ^^.
