2.3 Before and After?

Hi guys. I used to play until 2.1 where i stopped.
Now i decided to pass some time playing again, and picked it up. Now at 2.3.
I'm a priest, and would someone summarize what's changed to us priests? And what benefits we have now?
I'm an NE priest. I saw that starshards started becoming useful. Seems like one of the worst races become a popular choice for PvE priest soloing.

They changed the discipline tree making it more wanted by PvPing priests by:
1. Focused Will (NEW Discipline Talent) - After taking a critical hit you gain the Focused Will effect, reducing all damage taken by 1/3/5% and increasing healing effects on you by 4/7/10% for 8 seconds. Stacks up to 3 times.
2. Pain Suppression (Discipline Talent) is now usable on friendly targets, instantly reduces the target's threat by 5%, reduces damage taken by 40% and its cooldown has been reduced to 2 minutes
Also since you're a NE:
Elune's Grace (Night Elf) effect changed to reduce chance to be hit by melee and ranged attacks by 20% for 15 seconds. There is now only 1 rank of the spell.
And with priest racials..
Fear Ward is now available to all priests at level 20. Duration reduced to 3 minutes, cooldown increased to 3 minutes.
Chastise (NEW) is now available to Dwarf and Draenei priests at level 20. Chastise causes Holy damage and incapacitates the target for 2 seconds.

Also since you're a NE:
Elune's Grace (Night Elf) effect changed to reduce chance to be hit by melee and ranged attacks by 20% for 15 seconds. There is now only 1 rank of the spell.
don't forget Starshards - instant cast, magic effect (instead of channeled), arcane dmg over 15 seconds, 30 second cooldown :)
Elune's grace CD was reduced to 3 mins from 6 too.
Absolutely different now with starshards. It's instant cast instead of channeled. It's fantastic. Also, and I've had to double check this, but it costs 0 mp; I wonder if they meant to make Elune's Grace 0 mp... but I'm not complaining. Now I get Holy Fire, SW:P, and SS up and maybe a mind blast and then just wand stuff to death while sitting behind my little old shield :P Very nice. 30 Second cooldown is a good limiter on it, though, especially when they resist it.
This make discipline much more viable, I think.

Don't forget that they buffed Meditation from 15% to 30%, easily the best change for us this patch.

Also, note that
(nearly)
all items with +heal now give roughly 1/3 of that bonus to +spelldamage as well, making it now
a lot less painful
to solo and farm as a healing specced priest.
This also translates to your
Shadowfiend
btw. It's now hitting a lot harder with healing gear equipped, resulting in tons of additional mana returned. I love it. ;-)
