Everyone in my group died but me and the healer. The healer was awesome and I was leveling a Hunter so I continued to move around to get my ranged attacks out. The tank then proceeds to trash me saying "stop moving Idiot, you have a healer!" I mean, he could of been new to the game but still.... Regardless, I found it quite funny.
Clearly expected you to be a classic melee hunter.

This is only funny after the fact. When it happened i was getting pretty frustrated. So anyway, this was shortly after the 4.3 patch came out.
I got into a End Time run and my group was on sylvanas. They had marked a spot to dps the ghoul, so i thought awesome this group has some idea what their doing. The healer then goes on to say to stack up behind the boss to make healing easier, and i'm like WHAT? He tells me that's what we're supposed to do and i'm like uhhhh nooooo almost all sylvanas's abilities do aoe damage and we're supposed to spread out and move out of stuff on the ground. Everyone then tells me i'm a noob and this is how they've been doing it. it then dawns on me why this group had an open spot >_> So i'm kind of dumb and will atleast attempt it before leaving so i stay. We don't even make it to the first call before she drops the purple stuff under us and everyone but me dies. I popped AMS and ran out of the purple stuff. Everyone then blames the wipe on me, apparently if i had stayed in the purple stuff i would have split the damage and they would have lived >_>
i wish i was making that up....

A hunter needing a str axe so he could "Draw back the bow faster" with the extra str...
That is absolutely my favorite. Right from the book of made up facts...

Got into a Wailing Caverns run a couple weeks ago on a lowbie Hunter alt, and I noticed a druid in bear form. I first assumed it was our tank, and was kinda bummed as I really didn't want to share the sweet leather gera that WC drops. When I inspected the druid, I saw that he was still wearing the gear that you start out with....and nothing else.
I then realized that the druid was our healer. I reinspected him after he shifted into caster form, and same thing...just the few pieces of white gear that you get when you create your character.
Needless to say, we actually wiped on the first trash pull ...and the second.....And worse yet, the player could not be kicked, and would not leave. We had to suffer through waiting for 2 different tanks until we finally got a tank geared good enough to really not require heals.

Since I'm soon moving realms, I've started a new character on my future home realm: a resto shaman. She's now lvl 17, and queueing with tons of ninjas and fail tanks.
So, yesterday I got to Wailing Caverns and as soon as the tank started pulling I knew something was wrong. Further inspection (pun intended) revealed he actually was specced Holy. We were actually kind enough to tell him he could zone out, respec and come back, but he refused. We kicked him and waited.
Another tank zoned in. Inspection. Resto druid. Since we couldn't kick him, he did our lives miserable during the first two bosses (first serpent guy & Kresh). After the turtle,
he needed the shield, zoned out and started questing in durotar for about 10 minutes, ignoring us
. Eventually he quitted the party.
Hunter starts tanking, I keep him up, we manage to reach third boss.
Third tank zones in. Inspection. Arms warrior.
Thankfully, he followed our (desperate) advice, zoned out and respecced. He was actually an awesome tank after that, y'know.
And for those who wander why I didn't leave, queue was 25 minutes on that monday morning.

The way we killed Hagara. When a boss which would enrage at 8 minutes dies after 7 minutes and 59.93 seconds you can't do anything but laugh.
Link
(Just skip till last minute if you prefer not to watch whole video.)
Then we proceeded to Ultraxion and he died when we had just one player alive.

A blood dk tank that had a /say or /yell added to most abilities. Or some addon i never heard about.
Skill and gear-vise i have no complaints. clearly gearing up some justice pieces, a few drops from the new five mans, a piece or so from the Zuls, gemmed and enchanted.
But every time he heartstriked there was something like xxxxx yells: Heartstrike In yo face, take that <name of mob>! and xxxx says: "deathstriked >name of mob> u mirin? yeah u be mirin!"
XXXX activates icebound fortitude, cool story breh! etc etc. It was hilarious for like three pulls, then just annoying.
