Are you satisfied with Cataclysm?

I said yes for the reason that i'm not dissatisfied. I'm a guy who does absolutely everything in the game (but yes, over time some things I get bored with). I do PvP, Raiding, Achievements, Dungeons (To an extent), Professions, Alts, and recently number crunching. While number crunching isn't directly involved with WoW, if you do it right, it takes up a good amount of your time (especially if you're publishing it for others to see) and affects the game and your hps, dps, or tanking quite greatly.
So I mean, I do get bored, but when I do, I think about all the other things that I could go do, and have fun playing my holy paladin in a bg for a while, then jump to my mage for a dungeon.
Yes, the game gets boring for many people partly because:
Blizzard doesn't/hasn't released enough content to keep people involved with the new objective more than 1 month without said objective getting repetitive.
People don't do enough things. They get bored with Raiding. Try PvP. "I hate PvP it sux." Try it.
And even if you have tried PvP, then try it again at a lower level with a class that you haven't played with yet or in a while.

So there's only a few things we can do at 85...=(
Prior point has been made, I think.
(If people don't get it, this is sarcasm, but we really could use something in addition to what we have at 85. It's clear raiding, dungeons, and PvP, etc do not cut it anymore)

I agree, but I really cant think of what else Blizz could add without it either being "silly" (like some kind of mini-game), or just another tedious grind (read: Archeology).
One idea that I had is to add in Solo "raid-style" content. Lately, I have been seeing just what older content I can get through solo on different toons. And its actually been pretty fun to have to work through boss mechanics and such. The bummer though, is their is limited reward for the effort. I think an actual "Solo Raid" would be pretty cool. Something that you would have to work for, wipe on, and progress through...but only by yourself. Even if the reward was only VP's, and maybe a chance at sub-tier gear, it would maybe add something better to time-sink with other than repetitive dailies.
I do realize that it would be a nightmare to create. Especially since each class has such different solo abilities.

Absolutely, positively, most definitely, satisfied with Cataclysm to the extreme.
Cheers.

What's wrong with minigames? Gameception would be amazing, btw.

I voted 'a bit', because that's the closest option to the middle ground as there was. I'm not overly satisfied or dissatisfied with Cataclysm, but it got very old very quickly for me (the guild levelling and rep system are
really
a double edged sword, in my view) to the point that I've quit, don't miss the game, and probably won't resume playing in the foreseeable future. The revamped content and new gimicks were, well, exactly that. Gimicks. They weren't substantial enough to motivate me enough to keep playing. Other reasons include other problems mentioned by others, there's not very much solo content other than a couple of quest chains and some dailies which get very repetitive very quickly. I also lost the time and motivation to raid, which was what I'd done for TBC and WotLK (although it
was
pretty casual). TL;DR - Cataclysm promised to breathe new life into the game, but did not deliver.

I only voted a bit, because I'm getting sick of it, but to be honest I can't really understand why.
I could say I'm tired of grinding the same dungeons for gear over and over, but I've always had to do that.
I could say I'm tired of playing world of queuecraft, but you get into dungeons faster and there's a lot less tedious afking while flying all over the map, so it seems like an improvement.
I could say the pug scene is pretty dead, but even in 3.3 most pugs went 4/12 and then bickered until they fell apart, so there wasn't much of one before, either.
I could say classes are too homogenized, but I don't care at all about PvP and it really doesn't bother me that I can spend less time worrying about raid comp, so even if some classes feel somewhat similar it really doesn't affect me.
I could talk about a less immersive world, with all of the instant teleports to dungeons and questing with flying mounts, but I never really cared about that to begin with.
So, I'm really not sure why I've gotten completely sick of WoW and am planning on cancelling my subscription again. I can't think of many criticisms I have which are unique to Cata.
This right here. I just don't like playing like I used to but I'm doing what I used to do with the people I used to do it with so I don't know where the problem is. I voted no but I don't think its because of Cata itself.

And the reason comes down to trying to hit a middle ground that left NO ONE happy.
SOMEONE seems to have liked it:

It has its good and bad points. The best being the brilliant Phasing quests. I really enjoy "affecting" the world like that.
The worst? I seriously don't know what they're trying to
do
with the game now. The supposed "Hard Raiding Environment" is preceded by the easiest, most trivial levelling up in any game whatsoever. The game - below Lv85 - is just breathtakingly easy. There's no challenge whatsoever. It's basically just time that separates you from your Raiding toon. Heirlooms further reinforce the "Raid rush to Endgame" focus.
So why spend so long crafting a potentially wonderful levelling experience (up to Lv60 obviously, the next 20 levels are
still
the same) only to give players as much opportunity to bypass it all as quickly as possible? Just how many of us have seen people levelling purely through Dungeons or PvP? I can do a
quarter
of a zone before the quests turn green and it's either stay there and wait for them to go grey (which makes the game even
more
easy to faceroll) or leave the redesigned zone and go somewhere else! What the hell?
All that time spent redoing Azeroth should have been spent
making an expansion pack.
I'd welcome
NOT
flying in Azeroth if it meant Lv90 Characters and another Hero Class to play.

I gotta say no.
I miss the old questing. I miss the old zones. I miss the old SFK ad Deadmines.

Oh you idiots make me laugh. Cata was the BIGGET damn expansion ever. 5 new bloody zones, one of them is a damned MINI CONTENENT (Vashj'ir) The whole world needed a remake. Look a it now and look how it was. We needed a change. The best raiding content and heroic content since TBC. I loved this expansion and every aspect of it. Nothing will change my view. Unless they remove transmogrification from 4.3.

We needed a change
No, we really didn't.
There were people who WANTED a change. Nobody actually needed it. And I personnally feel it was for the worse that they changed it. I'm not a fan of the new questing that rockets you to max level. I'm not a fan of the new vanilla where everything seems to be in a constant state of rushing around and warfare.
It feels less like a world and more like a game.

Oh we needed it massively, as the game was stagnating from 1-60. But your opinion is still just an opinion.

And the idea of needing it is still just your opinion.
And again, it wasn't a need. Needs are food, water, shelter, ect. Noone was going to die if they didn't revamp the old world.
