What would a flask taste like in real life?

So. A question I always ask myself when a guild cauldron is put up, what does a flask taste like? Is it yummy like fizzy pop, or bitter like medicine? Did Alice in Wonderland drink a noggenfogger elixir to get small? Boy she's lucky she didn't turn into a giant skeleton.

So whats your favourite flask ingame, and what do you imagine it to taste like?

I can imagine a flask of the draconic mind tasting citrusy, after all it is greeny.. weird.. thing. Mmm fresh lemonade! Or it could taste like.. you know.. sewage from undercity.

The way i always thought of it was since flasks are good for you theres no way they'd taste good, i think it would be like fish oil or something nasty like that

i'd imagine Flask of the Winds, my main flask, tastes like cattails, which tastes like cucumbers, and kelp, mainly the seaweed that wraps sushi, with a little volatile life sprinklin', which I imagine tastes a lot like common grass or tree leaves.

For Draconic Mind, it would depend on what Volatile Life tastes like. Azshara's Veil would be plankton-flavored and jasmine is jasmine.

While we don't use any spices in our flasks in-game, I'd imagine they would be spiced up with sugars/acids/etc. in real life.

I think they'd taste like energy drink with a fruit flavour.

Because then I'd finally have a reason to chug them.

Thats...well now that you mention it yeah that is a good question.

I'd imagine:

Flask of Flowing Water Would taste like, well, sparkling water (obviously)
Flask of Steelskin Would probably taste like a health shake, extra stam and all that.
Flask of the Draconic Mind I'd image would taste like V8, veggies are good for your mind aren't they?
Flask of the Winds That'd have to be an Energy Drink, makes you more springy and energetic right.
Flask of Titanic Strength Would have to taste like liquor, that makes everyone think their stronger anyways.

Well since they are all made of herbs they would all probably have a bitter or pungent aftertaste like liquid herb tinctures you can buy in a health food store.
Volatile of life....probably a preservative.

Hmm. Always imagined (despite the animation) that I was injecting them straight into my wrists like Jack Ryan from BioShock. Then would proceed with tweaking out on lightning and fire and various other plasmid overdoses. Thus taste was not an issue. But I suppose you could drink them too...

You only inject healing potions if you are an Engineer.

Everyone else, chug-a-lug.

I wonder if they taste like 5-hour energy. I don't know what that tastes like.

But reading this thread has got me wanting to drink something fizzy and fruit flavored.

I've had one of the "potions" they sell at the cash registers at Frys Electronics. They are both overpriced and disgusting. I guess you imagine a Five-Hour Energy Drink, make it stale, and not very effective.
