I was playing with the thought of becoming a member of the BioWare boards community, but I didn't do it in the end. :B Seems like I didn't lose out on anything important. For softcore fanarts, there is always DeviantArt!
They were also talking about showing some SWTOR raid content on the E3, which I am really curious about.
Goddamn, after all this Blizzcon crap, I was absolutely baffled when I found out they are actually live streaming the E3
for flipping free

I've been a fable fan for a long time, and seeing what they were doing with the kinect was amazing to me, I just hope they don't mess it up and make the spellcasting and fighting a glitchy mess.

lmao @ Microsoft milking the Halo cow even past it's creators essentially saying "We're friggin' done. There's Halo: Reach. Good game. Last game."
And Microsoft is like "lololol well guess what Bungie, you sold us the rights to the Halo franchise, so we'll just get someone else to make it. Problem? *loopy arms*"
And I'm avoiding all information on Mass Effect 3 like the plague. I take RPing (that it to say, playing in character) very seriously in Mass Effect, and since Shepard is not a psychic, I don't want to know anything about the plot, even if it's only tangentially related, before I start playing.
No, Bungie just said it was the last game for them. They knew full well that Microsoft would do another Halo game.

One of my friends (writes for Armchair Empire) is actually at E3. I asked that he bring me back some swag from Funcom's The Secret World if available - and of course, SWTOR swag if he can. :)
The Wii U looks pretty awesome, IMO. It's essentially a console coupled with a single-screen motion- and touch-sensitive gaming unit. It's like the Wii and the DS had a baby in high definition.

Nintendo's new console.
But in all seriousness, the Wii-U has potential. I'm cautiously optimistic. Other than that, E3 was pretty meh. Waiting for Gabe Newell to murder everything and announce Half-Life 3.

I've heard talk that Nintendo is going back to the hardcore roots and distancing themselves from the Wii as much as possible. Skyward Sword is the Wii's finale big-hit before the Wii becomes obsolete (more so than it already is).
The likeliest name for the console? Nintendo. That's it, just Nintendo. That alone makes me very, very excited.
Doh, this rumor was before the conference :(

It honestly depends on the first game. If Halo 4 is reviewed well, I'll buy it.
Honestly, it comes down to the reviews for me. I won't buy it if it seems to be a bad game, and I don't rent, so it depends on whether IGN (my main review site) thinks it is good.

Wii U is already sold to me. Smash Brothers. Period.
No other game is as big as name for me as Smash Brothers.

Aye. The sad thing is, I pretty much bought my Wii to get Brawl >.>

Just a thought here (since I'm sure that some of my fellow Wowheaders do tabletop gaming): The Wii U could have some massive potential for an interactive tabletop gaming studio. The controller-screen could be used to display the character sheet for the player, roll dice, whatnot; the touch screen capability would allow the player to move their characters in a map displayed on the TV screen; DMs could 'pull' the character's sheet over to review it; and since messages can be sent to particular controller screens, it could be used to send private messages to players.
Basically, package up a map designer, a decent character designer, and some animations built in, and it would be amazing.

That would be pretty crazy, although TBH the only tabletop gaming I do is WH40K, and that's not really the same thing ;)

Whoa now, we don't need to hear about that.
