Excited about following blue post:
Unstable Affliction Dispell Penalty
We think the silence from dispelling Unstable Affliction is sufficiently punitive, but the damage may be too low currently - - that it isn’t scary enough to make it a decision to dispel or not.
In general, it’s not our goal to offer dispel protection for every dot or hot out there, but Unstable Affliction is a spell and mechanic we like and we want to make sure it’s doing its job. Maybe a damage bump would be enough, but in any case it's an ability we're looking at.

yeah, its definitely a step in the right direction!
all they need to do now is remove soul swap from pvp (make it non-usable on enemy players) and in return buff corr and agony damage by about 50-60%, and haunt by circa 80% instead of the coming 30%. would this unbalance afflock pve? nerf the damage of shadowbolt or drain life to compensate.
if those things actually happened we might even be able to stand up to rogues, warriors and DKs! as opposed to rolling our eyes, bending over and taking it like....men

Do you even play the same game I do? Those changes make no sense and don't address the real problem of warlocks in anyway.

Remove Soul Swap in PvP? umadbro? It means putting UA on someone without having to cast it, which in turn means less interrupts.
If they get the UA fix in + the current buff to Shadow Mastery, that'll do nicely. If we are still in need of buffs after that, then there's always next patch :p

nerfing sbolt would unbalance demo in pve (and pvp as well I guess)

Seems like they are also looking at UA damage ;)
Edit: When you dispell it*

soul swap may very well be the criminal behind the sad state of our dots right now. I have nothing against the mechanic per se, but I would gladly trade saving one ~ 1 second hardcast for better damage in general. as it is now, I run around swapping rows of tiny kittens that fondle the armor of our foes with devastating cuteness. is the role of "fear bot" fun, as someone put it? not to me...the shadow mastery buff is laughable, but perhaps mr. felpuppy's buff will make a difference =)

UA change specifics!
Unstable Affliction damage done when it is dispelled has been doubled, but this damage can no longer be critical
Hmm I dunno. I actually have no clue about the amount of damage it does right now. But double damage (that can no longer crit) seems rather lame to me.
Maybe I should keep skada active in arena for once so I can check ...

Actually I'd like to see UA burn the dispeller's mana. Just because I hate it that priests still have mana burn while we lost our drain mana.

Kinda meh, but at least its kinda some work which mean they will also be monitoring it.
Once again the main buff comes from nerfs for others:
Cleansing Waters now has a 6-second internal cooldown.

Updated with UA and Soul Swap changes.
Also......
The rate at which Honor Points are earned has been doubled.

Added recent updates.
The Dark Intent nerf isn't going to effect us as individual massivly, but in a raid group etc it's going to have more of an effect. Dissapointing really. It was fine the way it was.

i understand it.
9% is a
big
buff to certain specs (Spriest, resto druid) and it is only available if you have a warlock. in well organised raid groups this will lead to raid stacking to make sure you have a warlock for each resto druid (for example) which runs counter to the current ethos.
