Damn the Light, FORSAKEN FOREVER!
that being said...I'd enjoy a Forsaken Paladin.
There is zero reason they cannot exist. Didja HEAR ME-- ZERO.
You who say the lore doesn't support it are fools. Guess who writes the lore. Now ask yourself who makes changes in the game. If devs want it, we'll get it. end of story.

Game mechanics != lore. Ex: Forsaken are not humanoids.
True story. Which means all it takes is Blizz deciding Undead should be able to be Paladins. /shrug.

Exorcism and Holy Shock work against normal humanoids. Are the paladins not burning themselves with their channeling efforts when attacking with these powers? Why would undead be different?
Undead are definitely more susceptible to the light. Everyone can get burned by it.
Exorcism didn't work against anyone but undead until they changed it because Paladins were annoyed because they had like 2 attacks.

Blizz has said that eventually every race will be able to play every class and going forward they will create lore to support this.
Source please?

I still stand against the idea of an Undead Hunter, unless their "pet" becomes undead after they tame it.
I can see an Undead being a sneaky ranger-type, using a bow and hiding in the trees to stalk their enemies. I just can't see them doing it with, say, a Dragonhawk at their side. :P

A deity associated with the Light? Still pretty vague.
Very true. Of all the things Paladin-ish NPCs say, they never mention, "In ____'s name!" etc., in the same way Night Elves cheer, "Elune be praised!"
It's probably a very deliberate move on Blizz's part. They probably don't want the Light in WoW to be too associated with any sort of Christianity -- or any real-world religion, for that matter.
