a regular heroic taking 30mins to 1hour to complete as of now is not yet looking pretty...
You've been more lucky than me, i had go back to MS Prot to basically get through a normal without wipes, let alone Heroic's. Just had a paladin tank earlier in his full ICC25 gear, hadn't changed a piece, and his HP was a whopping 84k! i was chocked, but he insisted that because he had done 6/12 in ICC25 he could tank anything.
Let's say our group didn't agree, when i joined the group they had wiped on the first trash pull, and i think i should have left then. 3-4 wipes (up to the first boss) he gave up and dropped group, and i had to tank it from there. So, bye bye Arms, hello Prot... =/ Still, Warrior-tanking feels better than ever, abilities feel very solid, tho Tanking is never as fun as Dps'ing.

that is ouch.
highest hp i've seen for warrior tank was 160k, not yet fully blues or epics and not yet fully gem and enchanted... i would think 190k for a warrior tank seem really possible...
now if only a single heroic does not feel like a raid that takes up the whole night with you tank, dps, or healer feeling so drained afterwards...
heck some boss are easier tank and spank type that are one shot, then we fail on the next mob... ugh...

nobody said we're being bench... since the start of this thread, up to the present cata environment, there has been several changes in how to gear up and dish out dps now for both arms and fury warriors..
arms being somewhat easier to handle because of only 8%hit needed, while fury probably needing more than 15% just to get enough rage to consistently use special attacks...
gemming is also very dependent, plus enchants too...
overall i would say that ARMs probably is the way for lower ilevel warriors, then if you get to 340s, and get 2 good 2hand weapons, then try fury again... this is my current plan for my warrior.
