WARLOCK.
everybody who disagrees is welcome to come outside Stormwind
Lightning is faster then the time it takes for your brain to process the situation and release chemicals into your body to make you feel fear.

This whole situation really depends on how much you want the axis to tilt from 'fantasy' to 'reality'. Can rogues become invisible? Can warriors charge? Are spells even castable? Can druids change form, can hunters instantly and with no hesitation control their pets, are gnomes even viable?
In a fully 'real' situation, hunters win hands down every time. While rogues crouch trying to be invisible, warriors run up to and try to hit, and casters attempt to cast spells that they can't cast, a hunter would just shoot them with a rifle. One bullet is all it takes in reality, the wolf/hyena isn't even necessary, although they'd be very useful for sniffing out surprise attacks.
In a more 'fantasy' type setting, I'd say that feral druids and rogues would both have equal chances at winning, since an ambush would instantly kill, as well as a ravage. Hell, cheap shot would probably incapacitate the enemy permanently. Missing an eye sucks.
I'm assuming cast times for Lightning Bolt wouldn't exist, because the speed the lightning bolt reaches your body and is released is as close as possible to instantaneous.

Aint this why we have guns IRL already? We ruled out magic a few hundred years ago I think.
