from the moment they
said
there would come a
frozen orb
trader people in instances have turned crazy.
i have done 8 instances today and 8 times people tryed to ninja the orbs.
the prices from frozen orbs have turned from 5 gold up to 30 gold on my realm, and the trade channel has become the "WTB more frozen orbs" channel
i asked my friend how many frozen orbs he had collected already and he sayt 242(!) frozen orbs
have people on your realm also turned crazy with those orbs?

It would be funny if they decided to scrap the idea.

Yup same thing on my server. Before the patch announcement those orbs were 6g on the AH. Now 25-30 g minimum. Most groups are needing them in LFD. My guess is that players buying them up will trade them in for eternals or whatever and re-post at a higher price. hopeflly it will drive the prices of eternal fire down.

Here's a thought. If everyone clicks need, no one can be a ninja. I don't know why anyone would click greed on orbs in the first place.Indeed... it's the only way of doing it that can't be exploited, so start needing or you're feeding the ninjas.
And yeah, we have a Frozen Orb
bubble
going ^^

I have made a macro I spam before the last boss fight.
" I am rolling NEED on the frozen orb. I suggest you do the same."
The server I play on usually rolled greed on the orbs, but since the LFG came out,
some of the servers have always rolled need on the orbs. If everyone rolls need,
no ninjas....
however, there will always be those that don't read party chat and miss my spammed message...

I'm going to await developments. I like it that people in my battlegroup can be trsuted (so far) to greed on the orbs. It's a small way of saying "We trust each other".

My Guild leader reads MMO Champs regularly and the second he read that there was the new Frozen Orb vendor, he began to buy them on our server, at this point many people didn't know about the new vendor and because of this he was able to amass over 3,000 frozen orbs only paying around 6-7g each. Now, orbs are going for 50g+ on my server, which is ridiculous, paying 50g for an orb that can be traded in for eternals (most expensive being life which sells for 30g) or frost lotus, which sells for 40g and is likely to go down once the new vendor arrives next patch.
Another example of Wow imitating life.

Logical, I suppose, as both feature the same humans.

On my realm, everyone rolls "Need" on Frozen Orbs.
Hence? Zero ninja factor.

What? Can you really get 6 Crusader Orbs for 1 Frozen Orbs? How does that make any sense when a Crusader Orb was purchased for 15 Emblem of Triumphs before?
Cheers.
