Would you like some Crackers to go with that QQ?
Elem is for the most part fine.

If you don't like the tier, don't wear it.
Crazy idea; I know!

Spriests, boomkins
, and demo locks all cover our only buff that no other class/ spec has: our ToW.
WUT? Uh, no. Only Demo Locks can best Totem of Wrath, and the next-best spellpower buff after ToW is Flametongue Totem, which is just over half as effective.
The 3% crit from ToW also comes from a mut rogue or a ret pally.
Honestly though, QQ moar, your low DPS isn't because of the spec, it's because you're bad at the game. Be glad Demo locks provide a better buff than ToW, because when you can use a dps totem Elemental does great numbers. Both of my guild's ele shaman pull 9k on a stand-and-nuke boss.
Also the new T10 4p is much better than the old one. the 1.5 second cooldown reduction was SO bad that elementals were planning on getting 2p and then getting other offset pieces instead (the 4p merely devalued the 2p and in doing so was barely worth any dps at all). The new 4p means that on a stand-and-nuke you get more LBs and less FlS in your rotation, which is a small but significant dps gain.
Please reroll, we don't need stupid people clogging our class any further.

Having a demo Warlock is indeed beneficial and the OP obviously has no clue about which classes bring important raid buffs but he is still right:
An equally skilled and geared elemental Shaman will pull less damage than e.g. a shadow Priest. And way less than a Mage or Warlock.
Elemental Shamans are at the bottom of the dps chart right now. They used to share that position with balance Druids but with the recent buff to them the Shamans are alone right now. Being able to pull 9k is fine but when enhancement Shamans do 11k and Mages 13k in the same fight something is seriously wrong.

Elemental Shamans need an int>sp talent and a scaling ToW. They needed it patches ago, I have no idea why Blizzard never put it in.

Just curious, since I'm a Demo Warlock. What's the part that makes us desirable? Curse of the Elements, I'm suspecting?

With good gear
Demonic Pact
will give over 400 spellpower to the raid which is much better than
Totem of Wrath
.
The 3% crit from the totem are usually redundant since every raid has an abundance of retribution Paladins which also give this buff.

Exodus, one of the top guilds in the world, on Marrowgar.
Elemental shaman doing 12k and coming in #3 on the meters.
Furthermore, looking at his armory and buff logs, he's not exceptionally geared (double RotD is the only thing he has that stands out as above-par for a progression-oriented elemental shaman) and he did not receive any gimmick buffs suck as PI or TotT.
Elemental is fine with the recent buffs, l2p.

Aye, the cool thing about Shammies is that they can stop what they're doing, toss a heal, run out of the way of a Big Ugly in ghost wolf, rez someone (or self-rez) and keep applying the pain. Versatility is what makes the class sexy to me. (I'm a warlock, looking to make a Shammy)
I am very impressed with what Shamans can do. And, they're not glass cannons like mages. Unlike mages (or Priests), they can take a hit, laugh, and smack a mob again. Drop To, bolt for safety, and start hitting again.

Demo pact is a legit complaint, but most intelligent guilds will bring demo pact so that YOU can do 1k more dps by using a fire dps totem, as well as so the raid has more spellpower overall.
I'm not sure what you're talking about with boomkins though. Boomkins and eles both provide a 5% crit that is up 100% of the time (theirs is an aura, ours is a proc off every crit with a 15-second duration, hard not to have 100% uptime). If you mean the 3% crit debuff on ToW, that's only shared by Rogues (single-target unless they FoK) and Paladins (some prots pick it up, all rets do - single target on a 8-9 second cooldown), whereas ToW is 3% crit to every mob in the encounter, passively.
Totem of Wrath is one of the biggest raidbuffs available on a fight like Lady Deathwhisper or Valithiria Dreamwalker, just because there's no reasonable way to get that 3% crit onto every add that spawns throughout the fight with rogues or pallies.
So yes, ToW should spellpower scale similarly to DP, or DP should cap at 280, BUT, Elementals are still in a good place DESPITE ToW's lack of scaling.
