Roses killing LFD fun =(

So this is just something that happened to me in the last few days (since the valentine's event):
I'm working on levelling a horde toon. I have 5 ally 80's and wanted to try a different server. I'm currently level 70 and an unholy DK. Figured it would be easier to level a DK and make it a money machine and then work on a different class after.
My problem is that on the server I have chosen and the time that I play, the queues for dps are fairly hefty (although I'm finding that whatever the LFD icon says is always wrong... 40 mins could be 5 etc etc). So I quest and quest (no problems there) and a dungeon will finally pop up! Yay!
Get into the dungeon and oh, lookie, 3 80's.
Long story short, us poor level 70-somethings are sitting forever in queue (i've waited up to 45 minutes so far), trying to get dungeons for quests and emblems only to finally get one, get to the first boss, watch someone get some
effing
flowers and then ditch group (tanks and healers being the main culprits which results in another 15 minutes sitting in a dungeon hoping you get new ones).
At least have the decency to roflstomp the rest of the dungeon for us so we can finish our quests. It only takes like 5 minutes top when half the group are 80's.
Anyone else having this happen?
Last year I did reg dungeons for the roses on my ally 80's but I never just dropped group and left some poor 70-something dps-ers to fend for themselves =(
Keleseth in reg UK can be done with just two 80's (a tanker and someone who can throw a heal if needed). So why queue with the lower level players and screw them over?
They should have made the damn things drop off the last boss. It would have solved the whole problem.

I follow you mate. I remember this during Feast of the Winter Veil. People joined a grp, only to ditch them when their red winter hat had dropped. YaY..

True, but it's nice to get that pre-Heroic gear before hitting 80.
Plus, he IS questing. Dungeon quests.
@Fae: I hear you. It's the same thing for Heroics too, which sucks even worse.

Go quest more. It's not like leveling is difficult.
That's not the point and if you read my whole post, I clearly state I have been questing outside of dungeons and I rather enjoy questing. (Especially as a DK, since everything is easymode.)
This toon I am talking about is for fun and one of the main reasons I started it was to try out the LFD system as a non-80.
I really just want to get my dungeon quests done and not just level through LFD as I do enjoy questing (and as the first horde toon I have stuck with, the quests are somewhat different and refreshing).
Thanks for the attempt at trolling.

It's going to happen for any holiday where something like this drops on the first boss. Blizzard should know this by now. It's just like when people get a few runs at a holiday boss and drop group before using their summon.

I got the roses from reg UK on both of my 80's for the achievement, I used the LFD tool but I stayed for the rest of the group. I can't stand how people leave in the middle of a dungeon after they get what they wanted, it's just rude. The other day my bf and I were doing H Gundrak for the random heroic for the 2 emblems of frost, we get to the first boss, kill it, then tank says "I just needed 1 emblem" then drops group. Sucks when people are jerks like that. If you're going to que for a random, finish it, don't waste other people's time.

I haven't had this happen before (usually run those with guildies), but that is just as terrible if not worse >.<

Some players will quit once their own personal goal is met or not. I had one random PUG member (level 79) ding to 80 on first trash groups in HoL. We all gave our "congrats" as the first boss was walking up to the platform we were on. The newly minted 80 replied "Thx Time to run a heroic" and he left just as the boss aggro'd. Loved that wipe. :(
What a moron. Like he couldn't spend the 2 minutes to solo for that ding? Unfortunately a mass majority of WoW players are like this.

Yea, it kinde sucks, my friend finaly got lv 68 on his priest and I had a 70hunter, 71 DK(tank) and 72 mage.
I ofcourse mainly do dungeons with him on my DK to get him in as holy=>fast queues but I also need to level my mage/hunter :(.

And 80s can go do the dungeons themselves instead of wasting the levelers time. If they group up with other 80s it would be faster anyways. Your statement has nothing to do with this thread.
I have only had one 80 in a random dungeon with my pally I am leveling (healing priest) and she stayed for the whole dungeon (if she would have dropped I would have just switched to my healing spec). I have gotten in other dungeons where they had just had 80s drop though.
