I have been using grid for a long time, and altough I have little complaints the name Vuhdo just keeps popping up too many times for me to ignore.
Are there any users here that have tried both and can tell me a bit about the difference in the two addons?

I belive VuhDo is more complex, but with greater use. More config with more "effect". Haven't used VuhDo either, but that's the impression I get from people. Maybe Vranx has a more detailed description of 'em on his site.

Not that it matters, but I use TukUI, which actually looks very little like your spurious and uncalled-for assumption.
I was just pointing out that there was an article on wow.com that related to that what was being discussed.
Now I remember why I usually just lurk here instead of post.

iSylvir, he didn't argue for the addon. But neither against it, just posting a neutral link with helpful information. And I'm being accused of trolling..

I am moving myself to VuhDo on all of my characters simply because it is clearly a superior addon. Its layout is far more configurable, and it can do far more for you than Grid can. Simply the fact that I can use it on my rogue with a 1-column (25 units vertically listed in alphabetical order) with threat bars, and also use it on my paladin for a raid healing tool makes it capable of that which Grid is not.
The only issue I have with it is that by default, it is configured to show me too much information about a raid. If I heal in AV using Grid for example, I am able to see range on people via alpha channels, see their heath level via background size, and if there is anything I can Cleanse off them, it'll show an icon with said debuff on their frame. VuhDo on the other hand is showing me cooldowns on debuffs for Priest buffs, HoT status, aggro alerts, different color backgrounds for various things; it's madness. It's too much for my eyes to focus on, so I've had to spend time
unconfiguring
it a bit.
