Healing Marrowgar (Disc)

I was in a Marrowgar group a couple nights ago for the weekly, and to say the least, we were running into some problems. Now, granted, this was a PuG, but I figured I would try to arm myself with as much knowledge as possible before attempting it again.
See, my main issues came around dealing with Coldfire. It seemed that I could never get more then one spell cast off before I would have to move again to avoid it. This, of course, only hindered my ability to use cast-based spells, but it seemed that this situation made it insanely difficult to keep the tank up. It basically came down to cast-move-cast-move-etc, obviously decreasing my healing efficiency. Is there something I am missing with the way Coldfire works in this encounter that makes it easier to avoid, or is this just a problem that you deal with (in which case the issue could have either fall in my ability to heal or the tanks ability to tank)?
Another question: it seemed that, even with the above problems, our group was wiping primarily due to our lack of coordination when regrouping after a Bonestorm. We were doing it as to stack up on a lucky charm behind the boss (everyone), do your thing for the whirlwind, then restack afterwards. Seemed easy enough in theory, but after a bone storm, people started dropping one-by-one from either damage inflicted from the storm, or from the Coldflame as they restacked. Again, was this just a coordination problem that could have been solved had this not been a Pug, or is there some better way to handle this phase?
THANKS!

I heal this Disc in 25, I can't stan din the hitbox (my laptop does NOT like that at all) so I stand out with everyone else. We spread out, hunters in the middlish area, me just to one side so they can get to me quick if need be. Heal ass off. You are at about mid/max range so you can see the coldflame, and move quickly to avoid it. As was said before, bubble if you have to move, if they are taking hits throw penance when you land.

Sit in melee range. Coldflames can't hit you.
Problem solved.
