((I'm posting this a bit late at night so I can see the most reactions tomorrow. It's a bit short and there's not much action, but I'm trying to build this all up towards a nice battle, so don't worry. Do enjoy!
Part 1.
Part 3))
There was a letter tied around the arrow. When Jade looked at the direction it came from, the Night Elf in the other cell bowed and sat down. He put his owl on his hand and communicated with him. To Jade it appeared they were doing a staring contest.
‘Aren’t ya gonna read dat?’ Mec’lan asked, pointing at the letter. Jade grabbed the arrow, pulled it out of the wall and unfolded the paper. The handwriting was a pleasant one, but the ink appeared to be blood.
Ishnu’alah, sister.
I send you this letter using my last arrow, the only one the Goblin didn’t steal from me when he imprisoned me here. Do not be alarmed by the fact that it is written in blood, as it was the only resource I had that could be used as ink. Luckily, my friend Krahnn here sees no harm in hurting himself and lending some of his blood to me.
My name is Saldrius, and I must say I am rejoiced to see one of my own kin again. It has been long since I had that pleasure. I had been sent from the Park in Stormwind to Booty Bay in Stranglethorn Vale to take a boat to Ratchet. Once there, I was supposed to check on the current situation of the Druid Naralex.
I too, was attacked by the little creature and his Ogre servant. Even my owl Sufferwing was unable to escape capture. Luckily, Krahnn and I have agreed our differences must be set aside of we are to get out of here. However, the cell doors are magically protected and emit shockwaves when touched. Thus, our only chance of escape is when the Goblin opens them, and who knows how long that might be.
Once again, welcome, sister, and may Elune ensure our survival.
P.S. So your name is Jade, I heard. I like that name. It is as beautiful as you are.Jade couldn’t resist smiling when she finished reading. It was a relief to have someone she could really trust nearby.
‘So, mon, is he a serial killer or what?’ Mec’lan asked. ‘He and the Orc, Krahnn, are willing to aid us in a possible escape.’ Jade replied.
‘And do they have a plan? We’ve been here for about two weeks now, but we haven’t seen any way to break out yet’, Nervaun told her. Jade answered they didn’t know either.
Before they could go any further, Kazzle Battlewrench appeared. He held a remote in his hand and smiled menacingly to the group. ‘Welcome back in the world, Elf. I figured you’d make it when I locked you with a Druid. Unfortunately, I’m going to put all of you down again. You see, the Blood Elf’s corpse in the Arena has been eaten clean by the vultures, and we need a new combatant for the upcoming duel.’
He pushed a button on the remote and the door began to shine blue. Shortly after, it emitted blasts of energy that knocked the four inside the cell back. In the other cell, Krahnn attacked his cell’s door but was hit by shockwaves and knocked unconscious, while Saldrius could only look.
When the quartet was completely blown to the ground, a green gas filled the room. Jade began to feel sleepily and tried her best to keep her eyes open. ‘Brohm, get the Druid’. The Ogre walked in and grabbed Nela by her hooves, dragging her out of the room. Nervaun attempted to grab his wife’s hand, but was too weak and just unable to reach her. In a matter of seconds, only three persons remained in the cell, left in a deep slumber.
