as long as you keep it up with drainlife and haunts.
I'd rather use sbolt than drain life, it does
slightly
more dps, and keeps corruption up as well.
Edit: just checked the tooltip, and it doesn't mention shadow bolt. What's that all about?

the addition of drain soul and shadow bolt was done in a hotfix. that means that it has been changed server side but a small patch is needed to make the change reflected in things like tool tips in your client.
you should only use drain life if you are absolutely forced to do so by too much movement and too little time. haunt should be used on cooldown every cooldown and should never be looked at as simply a way to maintain corruption.
